Denis likes people who have no personalities /ideas of their own.. but use Denis philosophies.

the problem is... if you only want people like you around.. youre not learning anything new because everyone is nodding to what you think.. now thats ok when youre right.. but not ok when youre wrong.

You know Denis is wrong because in 4 years he has a history of losing and betting on the wrong things....

and `so Denis needs outside influences... because the Denis formula is not working.

Well if Carlton God could actually post a picture of himself rather than his son then we all may be able to take him more seriously.

Listen here boy (and I do mean boy), when you ever get out of that nappy and move on to eating solids, you may only then be in a position to actually write something that is coherent and clear to understand.

Until such time occurs, it might be best to stick to writing up puff pieces on the players you are in love with or the standard of ice-creams sold at the grounds.

Now get off to bed, it's late and you have school in the morning.

look at you, all loving god, having a go at 14 year olds.
im sceptical as to whether you are god. maybe calton clown would be more fitting?

The first quote down-playing Mitchell's performance with the Bullants was breathtakingly foolish, but resorting to condescendingly slagging off a 14 year-old, tends to put the original comment into perspective.

True_Blue 24 might only be 14, but he has shown far greater articulation, reason and maturity than Carlton God has achieved in any of his offerings in this thread.

To have VFL listed players of the caliber of Morrell, Harford, Young, Raso, Franchina, Vansittart and Crow is a huge advantage added to that is that Mitchell has 5-7 blokes running around with 40+ AFL experience.

Compare that to Box Hill whose oldest player is Matthew Ball.

Carlton God might be a knob. But he is right.

Mitchell has got a more an handy VFL side.

Partly that is true Shakin, but Mitchell's not the only coach in the VFL with similar players of the background mentioned. Added to that, it's worth remembering that the players being mentioned are rejects from AFL sides, so hardly of the superstar category.

Mitchell has led the Bullants to an overwhelming victory for the minor premiership, and regardless of the cattle, that takes a good coaching performance.

He also has them playing at their best. Not only that, he had alot of our young players there too for a long time (and producing the same results) that have worked there way to the seniors. Pity the bloke in the senior's box can't do anything with them.

If you're on the same track as Richmond God you're always going to be in trouble.

I am still not sold. If Mitchell gets a win against the Washington Generals I might jump on board.

i dont think anyone is doubting how good the ants are, they are clearly the best team in the vfl but to say you could coach them to a flag is a bit silly IMO.

I am not saying that he is a bad coach, however many people try and make the connection that Mitchell is a good coach because the Bullants are winning. More to it than that.

Be carefull Synbad.........................i got told off a few weeks back for 'Suggesting' that the relationship between Micthell & Pagan might not be a healthy one.

It's all made-up crap of course, They're the best of friends.

Mitchell has a great sense of timing. What to say and when......

Timing is as important as just about anything in life.....

I guess that as you are here posting and not out coaching you are part of the exclusive 5% club?

And if he does go up a step next season to the blues I am presuming you have a CV at the ready???

I have no problem saying I couldnt do it, you can have the most talented bunch of individuals around, but if you cant mould them and focus them on a common goal, they remain just that.
