Brodie Holland went down faster than a $2 hooker. If Banno gets suspended for that Nancy-Boy's dive I'll kick Holland's dog.

Agree that Holland went down a bit too late after Banno's contact, but I still reckon Bannister will get one.

But the sooner the AFL introduces an amnesty on the likes of Holland, Milne, Farmer and Medhurst the better. Blokes should be able to deck these clowns without fear of being suspended!

I'd like to propose that Ryan Crowley be added to that illustrious grouping.

Crowley's the worst

In the record in the Carlton/Freo game, he listed "Gavin Brown" as his football hero, and alluded a few times to Collingwood

Suddenly, everything made sense

Crowley is ok. You can't hate him showing up unaccountable players for being unaccountable.

For those that can, take a closer look at the Didak/Lance tussle that led to umpire Goldsphincter awarding the first free kick in front of goal.

Lance hardly ever cracks the shits at his opponent like he did yesterday. The Chanel 9 reply shows him pushing and shoving with Didak as they headed towards the 50 metre line and then that little sneaky bastard tried to plant a 'liverpool' kiss (headbutt) on Big Red. This is when Lance absolutely cracked the shits and tried to smash his face in.

Anyone else notice this???

FINALLY.

I saw it too Baggers at the game, waiting for my cold hot chocolate.

Saw it again on The Winners.

The Scotland hit [not a f&^king bump Malthouse and NO i don't want to rephrase it], obviously took front and centre in terms of news out of the game but the headbutt was plain to see if you had the footage.

Any idea, when the judiciary will lay charges for yesterday's game?

Nah. Teams get dudded by that dick Goldspink every single week. It was just our turn today.

We've got a bunch of kids who can't YET play at the required intensity for 4 quarters. The fact that we stopped dead at 3/4 time wasn't Goldspink's doing - it was just where we currently are on our development curve.

And if a couple of bad umpiring decisions made our guys pack up their playlunch and go home, then you'd seriously delist the lot of them for being the weakest, most mentally soft sportspeople this side of the Pakistan cricket team.

Goldspink's still a tosser though.

spot on mate

and this is where pagan is spot on about the "youth" of our side.

at the moment, they cant keep it up for four quarters and that is the difference.

which is why i cant understnad how people still rate our list as shit. I dont even think we need to concern ourselves with next years draft.

This years draft, if done correctly should see us with a side capable of winning a flag within a few years. Anything we get after this years draft is just a bonus.

90% of the team is there already.

Thrown in the likes of Hansen (who i am really leaning towards preferring to get) and some other top quality midfielders in the first round and we will have done superb.

dont forget the lads in the bullants that are showing plenty as well.

Thanks DUC. Lance never gets sucked in by that kind of crap so there had to be a reason. Obviously the Chanel 9 boys want to keep their job because they didn't seem to think the umpiting was too bad. Would have been interesting if the shoe was on the other foot.

I'll get howled down for this but I don't think, after watching the replay, the Didak bump was too bad (I was planning his funeral at the ground!).

I would have been damned proud if it had of been delivered in reverse. In other words, Scotland knocking that little poofter into the next solar system. 10 years ago such a bump would have been applauded as part of the game. Remember we are playing football, not netball.

im of the same opinion there baggers.

however, what happened 10 years ago doesnt happen anymore.

Carey on Saturday Central was priceless last week, when they where talking about the penalties players get now compared to what they got years ago.

they showed the famous Banks v Rhys-Jones hit and Carey's eyes near popped out of his head when Pig Dunstall said he only got three weeks.

His reaction was priceless

I thought the same thing Baggers last night - Didick kept his arm down but the HIT was too high and that's why I think he will get rubbed out - that and the headbutt on Red.

Diddick should start pre-season training this week, cos he not playing no more this year!

I think, but hard to say with the tribunal!

True the elbow stayed down, but if the AFL are serious about protecting players' heads then they have to be firm with Didak.

He had a clear view of Scotland & the option to tackle.

Glad that happened ... we could have buggered everything up because we wernt vigilant... a victory over Collingwood all of a sudden seemed very important.

A win would have buggered us up ..we still would have had the same problem.. lack of talent.

It kind of reminds me of the bloke who has a peanut allergy... a very bad peanut allergy.
... He physically swells up and has trouble breathing if he eatsa peanut.

he has to be very very careful.....
he cant go out to eat and he cant buy any processed food... in case he eats any traces...... so he is vigilant ...he has to be to keep alive//
this habitual vigilance is abandoned in a night of passion night of passion with his g/f.....he licks away like a dog on a plate of custard... and he decides in his passion to get all kinky and stuff so he flips her over and begins licking her bum....all of a sudden he gets shortness of breath and begins bloating.. he knows whats happening its an allergy attack....

she is a vegan and shes been eating nuts...which have by this time found their way to her bum....traces of toxins have been left behind..and now he is going to suffer.. brought back to life by a hit of adrenalin awakens him to how easy it is if youre not focused on what is good for you long term before any short term pleasures...

Close call....!!!

Goldspink saved us from the bum lick to hades...

But i doubt we were good enough anyway... we had a couple of senior passengers again.

the kids were fantastic... and we need more of them.

Or to sum up...exactly what MArissa said about Goldspink...."Eat Sh!t and Die!"

Can't agree about Lance...showed why we desperately need key defender so we can throw Lance forward where he should be and creates the most havoc

I remember that hit. Banks couldn't have done it any better (again, I wish it was the other way around). Just look at the difference between rugby league and afl. The Storm and Raiders had a fair dinkum pub brawl the other night. A few got sin binned for 10 minutes and that is all. I say bring back the biff. It was great to get the old blood pumping yesterday!! That is what footy used to be about. :-D :-D

Given the pre-game can of baked beans and with the whistle placed firmly between his butt cheeks, I would say all free kicks against Carlton were blown by the Golden Boy! 8)

Sorry but if it was a hip and shoulder, I've got no problems with it.
For something like that to be reportable shows how soft the game has become.
The bump rule is a farce.
Players are worried about jumping off the ground which is resulting in more head clashes.
Far more dangerous.

Heath will learn to look around next time.

couldnt agree with that anymore if i tried.

if the AFL thinks getting rid of the biff is going to better the game they have no idea.

that 10 mins of chaos was the best, most passionate bit of football i had seen for a few years.

was superb

infact, time for a signature change.

Agree, I would have been rapt if one of our blokes did it. In fact I would have been dissapointed if they did not do it.

To bump a guy in a fair contest without "taking him out" is one thing, but yesterday was more than that with that little flower prancing around as if he owned the G

Diving, Staging, Head Butting, he'll get it all back ten fold one day
