Assuming we had access to a group contemplating a challenge to the board,

1.What questions would you like answered by that rival group?

2.What would you want them to bring to our club in order to secure your vote?

As a member of Carlton, what message do they need to “sellâ€

1. Have you got a gun?

If yes,

2. Have you got a bullet?

If yes,

3. Does it have "Denis" inscribed upon it?

1. How are you going to increase the club's annual revenue from $18m to $30M+?

What's your plan for the next 3 years, 7 years and 10 years?

How will you implement this plan?

ps - I don't want vision statements. I want a well thought-out, challenging but achievable plan.

Statement and questions:

1/ Want a board with excellent

- business accrumen
- public relations (big time)
- marketing ability

etc etc

2/ View on recruitment.

3/ View on football department as a whole.

4/ Is the ticket cashed up enough too inject some money into the club straight away as too wipe the AFL loan and reduce significantly our debt.

5/ What is their view on our agreement with the Telstra Dome.

- possible solutions

6/ What is the way they wish too increase revenue / brand

7/ Are we guaranteed no leaks too the media.

8/ We dont want Gardiner, but convice a descent PSD player.

9/ Why do they think the short comings are of the current board?

If they have enough time between now and Xmas too answer that one.

Finally - can they hurry up, we are sick of this shit.

Thank you.

What methods would they use to continue to scrap the debt?

What type of coach should be coaching Carlton?

How do you plan on increasing membership?

Do you favour Nike or Adidas as the club's leaky sneaker sponsor?

Why are our current Board and coach so shithouse? (Kernahan terminology).

What plan do they have to re-brand the club to the football world? Reverse the damage to our image?

Hey everyone,

I reckon the Razor has asked a serious question!

I want to be assured that a ticket would:

1. look to structure the off-field operations to ensure that the club is in the psoition to capitalise on trends in the on-line and new media environment

2. will devote significant resources to ensure that our marketing depratment is on at least a level playing field with other clubs, and has benchmarked kpi's to reach

3. structures off-field football department positions to deal with the cicumstances of our young list. This could include career and personal counsellors, and mentors for both football and life

4. identifies where they want the Carlton Football Club to be in 2020. There should be a headland strategy / blueprint released.

Please note my response under Sponsorship & Marketing thread by Brisvegas - a related thread in my view and hopefully both Brisvegas (the 'other' BV) and Ockham are busy forming tickets of gauging interest as we speak.

2 Big Questions that must be answered:

1. When will you and your ticket aim to have us back in the Top 4?

2. When will you and your ticket aim to have us profitable again.

Answering those 2 questions and the plans underneath is a key requirement to any potential ticket (or standalone Director). I wonder if Greg Lee has been approached to side with a new ticket? But the substance behind each and commitment to timetables is what I want to hear; no bleating; no complaining; no he said this, we said that...

I want action and commitment. Commitment to restoring the top 2 above (irrespective of the time they think it will take) and action on key milestones to achieve the 2 including:

Under 1.:
* Youth policy adherence
* Cash to throw at PSD#1
* re-contracting our 'Top 10' or seomthing like that

Under 2.:
* Plan to capture the minds of lost Blues;
* Vision for success on and off field;
* Embracing the history and future of the Club.

M

Good thread.

Do you intend on terminating the current coaching department and completely re-establishing the football department with fresh modern day appointments that will see a short term philosophy of pure senior development which will lead to sustained long term football success?

Do you intend on clearing the clubs crippling debt and restoring the clubs independance?

Millions of $$$$$$

A POSITIVE professional & open approach to running a FOOTBALL CLUB.

The ability to grow our club in membership & marketing.

Does the original version of the club song's sixth line read:

"... They like to send UP"

or

"...They like to send US?"
