ORRR we can keep our 25 year old gun midfielder and everyone else can keep there players Tarrant and Gardiner who are either the same age or older and worse players.

That is totally and utterly incorrect.

I can't understand how people can write such rubbish.

It's affected by injury this year :lol:

I prefer this 3 way trade

Stevens-----> Collinwood
Tarrant -----> St Kilda
Goddard-----> Carlton
That way everyone is happy! :lol:

Okay , so when Tarrant comes to St kilda, all of a sudden he is going to kick goals. The clown doesn't kick any for the Filth.

We also have Kossi, Watts and Brooks, not to mention a young kid called Sweeney,

Thanks but no thanks, We are not interested in Filth dropkicks, we got rid of the ones we had. :garthp: :garthp:

That's true, they home-grow their own dropkicks.

I see that some of you on here have expressed hopes we will delist Brooks so that you can pick him up.

You would do the same with Watts. IMHO, that is,

They are both only kids, but can mark and have a bit of size. the only things holding each of them back have been injuries and lack of opportunities.

That can quickly change around, but I accept that they would do better in a good team at St Kilda, and that they might struggle at Carlton.

Well, this puts the kybosh on the Gardiner talk

http://au.sports.yahoo.com/060719/2/t37m.html

So who's the third in the three-way trade now?

any club that goes near Tarrant are stupid, Collingwood should get rid of him at the end of the year for anything they can get.

Dude, thanks for the English lesson. When I have got five minutes at lunch to jot a quick note down in future I will ensure that I have every single word correct just for you.

Supercilious? takers anyone?

Re: your comment on Nick Stevens.

Round 1 - Nick Stevens - 26 possessions

Round 4 - Nick Stevens - 29 possessions

Round 6 - 27 possessions

Round 7 - 28 possessions

Round 13 - 29 possessions.

Round 15 - 32 possessions.
Etc. etc.....

You guys expect Stevens to be a superman when he has no midfield support. He is a quality midfielder who was worn down as a result of injury and a lack of support.

I guess you rate Whitnall as a better player too and more deserving of being Carlton's captain?

It was a joke. Take a breath.

My thoughts on Stevens and his value to our side over the next 2-4 years are well documented over in the Nick Stevens thread. I'm in favour of offering him up for trade in an attempt to improve our side in the next 2-4 year timeframe, and taking that trade if the benefits are clear.

Stevens is a good player.

I don't believe he is an elite midfielder.
