Is it

A My girlfriend is going to leave me for my best friend
B My club is in crisis
C I am being made redundant at work

I guess I could always buy a blow up doll, find another girl, make new friends, go on welfare or find another job however .........

I am stuffed if I am supporting Essendon*, Colloingwood, Sydney or any one else for that matter

Please God make this pain go away now and get my club back where the board, pres, coaching staff and players were all on one side and going in the same direction .....

I do not think I can bare to much more of this agony

You are unhappy because you want to be. You choose to be so.

I recall listening to an interview on radio with Cameron Schwabb when he first went to Fremantle, he was talking about the relevance of a football club on a supporters life, and the responsibility hel felt a club had due this one point.

Paraphrasing the quote;

There are very few constants in ones life, we move house, we change jobs, we have new partners, we settle on new careers, but we always support the same football club.

There are some good CEO's out there (I'm not saying Schwab is one of them btw).
I heard Peter Jackson the other day talking about how a club must get the balance right between running a business and running a football club. Yes you've got to be financially sound but you've got to remember that it's a footy club with a footy mindset & passion first & foremost.
I liked the way he talked.

Peter Jackson would make an interesting CEO... he'd turn the place into middle earth!
