The relationship Sticks and Denis became undone when Denis informed Sticks that he will be using pick 1 on Lachlan Hanson.

Denis and Sticks had a heated argument infront of Malouf and Lorraine Diggins regarding this issue and also that he had plans to meet with Gardner which they apposed of

Sticks come from the same town as Gibbs and is family friends of the Gibbs.

There are a few problems i dont know if that was one.

One is .... The assistant coach had to go.
Two is because he was being forced to play the kids.
Three is Gardiner

And why are Pagan and Sticks in that rumour choosing the pick???

If thats fair dinkum were done!!!

Lucky Denis didnt say he was giving Hanson number 5!
Laurraine would have jumped in and strangled Den with her pearls!

This guy has been posting rumour after rumour...it could be believable...but he has no track record...

I hope you realise Melvey, that what you say will be held against you in a court of TalkingCarlton supporters

I would think WH has precedent over Denis in the early picks (Cazz can confirm) - otherwise what are the accountabilities of the recruiting department?

Melvey has come up with some interesting "rumours", but there has been no confirmation of any, whatsoever.

Maybe an infiltrator from BF posting on TC?

I'd be shocked if any decisions had been made prior to draft camp

There are more that side with Denis than you would think..... He finds out everything that goes on behind is back

I say dont be blaming Denis blame those who sneak behind his back and causing the friction in order to please those with the pockets full of lose change

They need to be weeded out.

Like i mentioned before those who dont see eye to eye with Denis are those who he see's have no futute with the blues. Barry Mitchel used these guys and some others to launch his attack on the senior job

Denis had to reassure the board that he will use the number 1 pick to secure Gibbs when he presented to the board tuesday night.

He still wants Gardner but also spoke to another player while in WA.

There are to many on our list who are quick to blame others when they should take a hard look at them selves.

Honestly to be s enior player and call ______ and tell him to get Denis to play me in the midfield is pretty poor.

And to have a manager come in and not allow this other senior player access to his money simply because he spends it all on the horses is pretty poor and he wants to be captain when he cant even look after himself. This guy gets his arse wiped for him and runs to his manager when he in strife and no its not Fev

Denis is slowly weeding out the root but he needs more help.

Before the Brisbane game, Sticks was on the radio talking about picking the older players. He said something like "going into the Adelaide game I (Sticks) said to Denis, I think you'll need some bigger bodies this week to compete, so if you want to play some of the older blokes, I'll back you"

So which one is for and which one was against playing the kids?

good guess.....

Not everyone is perfect but why does the coach come under fire when the whole club is a mess.

Brett Ratten who Brown wants to have installed as coach when he gets voted in has come out and said that Denis must stay.

Ratts and Denis have had a little chat, like i said he has more support then most of you Herald Sun readers believe. There are some heavies getting involved behind the scenes big tough hard talking boof head pupet Fraser Brown doesn't realise what he is about to walk into and what he is going to cause down at the club.

If he is all about unity then why would he divide the club further when some of the club greats basically have told him and the man with his hand up Brown to back off.

Denis is not going down with out a fight.... he truly believes in himself and what he is doing down at the club and so do many others

Sticks for; Pagan against ... under normal circumstances. Sticks quote that you have indicated is him saying given the opponent he would agree with Pagan's normal team selection methodoligies.

Sticks managed to overrule Pagan in the last 3 rounds, providing 3 debutants.

Will be interesting to see how Pagan goes n ext year without his 10 go-tos.
