What about Damian Lock? He has experience running a successful small business, and is a former player.

Yes, and Bendigo was always a good zone for us.

What about Maclure? There's never any wondering what he thinks.

Bruce Mathieson is moving to the Gold Coast and will be stepping down from the board.

He's loyal DUC but he's a bigger flip flop than our incumbent sneaky leakers.
Wallsy changes his opinions like his undies these days. He makes Paul Medhurst look consistent.

Well, he'd fit right in then.

Changing your mind writing opinion pieces in the media is a bit different to having a hands on role at board level though isn't it? You'd reckon his philosophies on football would be reasonably entrenched???

I just heard on Nova 100 (of all the radio stations to report it, Nova is the one!!!!) that new details have been heard that Fraser Brown is looking to oust Denis as coach in a challenge.................watch this space.

I knew he'd probably mount a challenge for the board, but wasn't sure if he was going to try again to oust Denis!

Either way, can we kinda clear this up before draft time. One could only imagine how excited Bryce Gibbs is feeling, given we are just so organised!

I really would be amazed if Denis makes it to round one 2007 as our coach.

Either Smorgon will install Silvagni to save his bacon at the AGM, or Fraser Brown and his mates will roll Smorgon and look for a new coach (I guess Ratten is the name that would spring to mind).

Just reading between the lines....

Can someone point me to the thread or comment where someone (with reliable sauce as always) said the Brown offer was only a partial payment on Pagan's supposed removal? Whilst the Club had to find any money at all to do this (and they cant find money to answer the phones so why would you be able to find a material amount of $) I cant see that option as working.

Perhaps the Brown camp has found more $?

Molly, even if he did, 3 losses in a row or another 'Port loss' like in the 2006 pre-season would surely undermine him finally?

my understanding of it was fraser brown had found 900k within 2 weeks (of which 600k was his personal $) to replace pagan. Whilst this is obviously short of what is required, I wouldnt think it too difficult to find the remaining sum to pay out pagan (another 3-400k) through other sources.

Lorraine Diggins was the only one on the board to confront Sticks, Bear and Malouf about how they tried to push Denis out the door.

She question there ethics and morals. Sticks and lorraine now no longer see eye to eye

Is Sticks the problem here????

Has he stepped on to many toes and can he be trusted..... could the vice president become president???

not according to big bad bustling fraser brown
