Having seen training a fair bit this year, apart from his missus and kids, the credit for fevs turnaround MUST go to TD. Fev really spends no time with denis on the track and TD pushes him harder than i have seen anyone work at a training session anywhere. TD has been a pivotal person in turning Fev into the Coleman medallist.

As far as SOS goes...i think it is a good move. on a few conditions...
1. i dont want SOS sitting in the coaches box sniping. We don't need dissention in the ranks, we need unity and support. If that isnt going to happen, fact of the matter is, Denis is still head coach, so while he has the head job (he he he he) respect his position.

2. i don't want SOS being a yes man. While he should respect Denis' position the same should also be said for Denis' respecting the full back of the century. SOS has been appointed to have an opinion and that should be taken into consideration.

3. SOS is given sole responsibility for the backline. That way we can find out if he really has what it takes to coach.

Just wanted to give a update.....SOS will not come on board as he is scared that brown has the numbers to unseat the board and he couldnt work under brown regime...as they dont get along....he is to scared to put it online while there is this unrest at carlton.....

I am so sick and tired off all these people who have fortunes out of their assoication from this great club....and all they want to think of is themselves...

And in the mean time we will continue to rot away.

What a bloody mess!

I feel like going away until the start of round 1.

Which means Brown needs to either have his little board challenge or get out of the kitchen. This whole hanging over the club like the sword of damocles dealie isn't doing anyone any good.

If Brown was to prepare a ticket to challenge the board can he challenge now or do we need to wait until the AGM or EGM?

In other words can he challenge NOW!

We have so much work to do.....

Delist players,
Trade for players or picks,
Rookies to promote,
Rookies to delist,
National draft,
PSD draft,
Appoint assistant coaches,
May need to appoint a senior coach,

So many important decisions to make!

They said on radio on the weekend that the Board Meeting is likely to be pushed out to March now. So if there is to be a spill, Brown will have to call an EGM.

The meeting is scheduled for March but they are trying to bring it forward... not to assist in anyone challenging (although that is a nice byproduct) to let 2006 members vote and i think they realise that march is wrong.

The main issue is the accounts for the year and the time it has taken to do the Social Club windup...

Hope they bring it forward for we need some direction.

Agreed. :garthp:

Someone needs to show some @#$%&! leadership here! Not piss fart about making sure there is nobody behind them knife at the ready. Show some balls and start to drag this club out of the quicksand it is in. And now!!!

Well, pretty amazing that it was reported the exact opposite way on 3AW.

We have no friends in the media...

I read in one fo the papers on the weekend that Spew said that if Brown jumped on the CFC Board that the AFL would want to have a chat with him about his pay while at the Blues.

Me thinks he is trying to defuse a possible coup because he prefers dealing with someone manageable and pliable [read pissweak] like Smorgon.

I really dont care how long it takes or wether it happens this year or next.
I just want to see it done right . Who we draft and who we get to coach us next year is irelevant they need to get their shit together at the top. The club has wasted 5 years of sitting on the bottom and still does not have a key sense of direction other than we must win

I also think it will be very hard for anyone taking over as there appears to be to many deals done with the devil that will be difficult to back away from

The only thing SOS has to offer the club is two little boys ... who will grow in two big defenders :-D

I for one won't lose any sleep that he is shopping himself around.
