Bruce Doull ran a newsagency out Ivanhoe for many years after his football career was over - was always a gentlemen.

Everyone has skeletons in their closet.

I used to live in Ivanhoe too.

Let me guess, he only paid you $4.00 an hour instead of $5.00 an hour to deliver papers.

If it's true and you can back it up then put it up.

If you're concerned about the possibility of it not being true or unproveable then why post this sort of crap?

GWS you're the one posting crap about a Carlton legend. You put your childhood hero on a pedistool and I merely suggested he wasn't perfect.

I'm commenting on the public comments of a former Carlton player and board member in the media.

You're suggesting a rumour about a past player who's not said or done anything to denigrate the club as far as I know.

There's a major difference.

If Bruce Doull was making the sort of comments that Greg Williams has then it'd be no different.

PS: Is a "pedistool" what happens when you step in a dog turd?

Bullsh#$! The Brownlow is an individual award and has nothing to do with Carlton or any other club.
Just another excuse for you to lump it on one of our 90's champions that you seem to hate so much. By the way last time you patronised me was when you were telling me how great Pagan is and how he'll prove me wrong. How's he going?

Pagan's not going well.

Perhaps I was wrong about that.

Greg Williams comments reveal him to be self-centred and a flower.

You don't agree.

Perhaps you're wrong about that.

so now he is a flower because he should put the club before himself - then why did he leave Sydney? Seems we had no trouble with that bit of selfishness now did we...

and now? Umm maybe because its brownlow night.

and because there is a debate on about umpires giving votes and gee I'll take a stab here and say Greg doesn't want umpires to award votes because (like Glen Archer and others) he thinks they hold grudges. Not that a player would know, we TCers know far more. How dare he want another brownlow why I am outraged! So Greg's just opening old old can of worms and see what unfolds... but no, he's a flower isn't he, what would he know?

hey he once played for Carlton so lets make sure he never says anything again - unless of course TC agrees with him... why then he can talk all the shit he likes then :garthp:

If someone could give me updates on Brownlow Polling - as I can't bring myself to watch it anymore since that arrogant fat arse "The Spew" reads the votes.

But the few I mentioned have special significance:

1985 - Brad Hardie - ripped off Justin Madden

1990 - Tony Libratore - ripped off Stephen Silvagni

1993 - Gavin Wanganeen - ripped off Greg Williams

2000 - Shane Woewoedin - definitely ripped of Anthony Koutoufides.

As another poster pointed out in talking AFL, it was like he put the wrong white powder in his coffee. Read them at 1000 mph

A quick spew's a good spew I guess.
