I was worried that after the AFL dismissed the last submission, that would be it. Just another meek submission

But we need to stand up for a change and fight. Line in the sand stuff

If our legal advice is as sound as some people say it is - we must do this 1 week before the National Draft and get it ruled on the Friday Night before to give the cauliflower at the AFL no chance to appeal.

An important board meeting on Tuesday night will determine the fate of a few 'things'.. including changes to admin and the pp.

Taking 'the next step' will inflame and upset many, especially if we are successful in getting this additional player from the draft, as I hope that we will be.

As I have stated before, when Carlton comes good, it actually generates a large amount of hatred and jealousy from many many people. (Not that I am at all concerned by this.)

These people can do and say whatever they like, because at that time, they will be be reacting from a position of impotence.

Winning an additional Priority Pick in the 2006 draft by way of taking the issue further than others might expect us to would be like throwing petrol onto a future fire.

I can't think what legal grounds we would have for trying to get the picks back. I guess it could be restrict of trade, but that would be a pretty flimsy argument I am guessing. I really don't think that we have a leg to stand on.

Personally I am very sick and tired of looking back all the time.

I have spare tanker if that will help.

And blueslander - taking back what is rightfully ours is not looking back - it is drawing a line in the sand and saying we are not going to take it anymore.
