Well with all the noise out of Brisbane at present one would have to suggest the wheel has turned already for season 2007. Triple Premiers who have now succumb to the Blues of 2002 disease, without draft penalties, but wait are we hearing correctly that the players are leaving due to the huge salary cap problems they have? Have we heard the end of it considering the Lions cap is being reduced over a period of time (Think i read that somewhere).

The newspapers IMO are about to be dominated by Bad News Bears and Positive Blues with our draft position.

The wooden spoon will be a contest between 3 or 4 teams with the Lions about to take our right favourtism.

The Captain of the Lions, the spiritual leader is about to retire and he will join Carlton if he knows whats good for him

The possibility of extracting a ruckman from Brisbanes stocks is their for the taking. Wood? McDonald? Both available if we are aggressive enough.

The wheel is turning, Lions are at 1, the Blues at 4-5. Bring on the good news and bring on 2007.

The wheel is turning, all it needs is all Carlton people gathering behind and pushing.... Then it turns quicker its builds momentum....

In a way, the Lions have had Draft penalties, but brought about by their sustained success from 2001-04.

As much as I want this to be the start of the tide flowing for us instead of against us, I'm being quietly optimistic.

Brisbane, North and Essendon* will be below us in 07 is my gut feeling at this point.

I feel that we won't win another wooden spoon next year but will probably end up bottom 4.

It might be that we occupy higher positions at various stages in the season, , but bottom 4 at the end of the home and away matches..

8 wins might be a reasonable kind of target for the players to set themselves for 2007

I'd take 8 in a heartbeat right now. Especially if at least 4 of them were over Collingwood, Essendon* and North

Eight wins would be juicy. Finals are possible in 2008.

Yup guys..........

the wheel is there........but it's not turning yet.........for a wheel
to turn it must be in an up-right position........at the moment it's
on it's side lying in the boot.........!

BUT..........!

wait till it's put on the car.............!

the way i see it right now........we've only just realised we've
got a flat tyre..............!

kindest regards tommi

Very much liking the VIBE.... Don't think Brisbane's winning culture will allow them to stay down as long as we did (note the "did").

The wheels are in motion, Jerry...

And Adelaide
And Brisbane
And Fremantle
And Geelong
And Hawthorn
And Melbourne
And Port Adelaide
And Richmond
And Aaron Hamill
And Sydney
And West Coast
And the Bulldogs

@#$%&! it, I want 25 wins next year, nothing less!

But I'll be satisfied with 8, I guess...

When you get young players wanting to leave for a fresh start I think thats an indication that the wheels are off.....

I'd get behind that. If he signed up, Mrs K would become a member....she loves Craig.
