I'm going to be upgrading my membership for 2007 from an interstate member ($105) to a Long-Distance Captain's Club/Social Club membership ($275).

I can afford it this year, for one, and the pay-by-the-month option makes it a piece of piss.

I don't care if I get almost no value for the dosh - The Club needs it, so I'm doing it!

Who else is going to do something similar? Tell us how YOU are going tochip in and help out the Club when she needs you most!

I think that is the first time I have heard the club referred to as "she (or "he") for that matter. I guess a club is a bit like a living entity, rather than a thing

I'll be renewing my silver membership despite the fact I'm lucky to get to one game a year.
Lil' Miss Wojee was excited when her renewal stuff turned up so she'll be a member again next year.

In the same way that one refers to a country as a ship of State, or a she, I did the same about the Club.

Of course I'll be signing up again but very disappointed with the Social club offering again...

MCG seats are still a disgrace.

Sorry sorry... positive.

OK, I'll be re-signing, for sure. And Mini Hammerette will be as well.

Actually, that reminds me.

I'm going to sign my sister's Bub up as a Baby Blue.

Like they say in Tassie: Start 'em young.

Anyone else get excited by the membership package they recieved in the mail?

FINALLY, the club has decided to promote the membership around the young guns of the club and not Kouta or Lance.

A refreshing change indeed.

The club knows how to suck money out of me, will be getting 2 Social Club 17 and an 11, plus 1 for the new puppy aswell. Also likely spend another $1000 on merch again next year.

I'll be ugrading mine...same as KK...saved me the homework.

The Mrs and young 'Carlton' will be signing up again.

I also will be buying the 3 new borns in the street their Baby Blue, as well as the friends' (rugby families) new borns...if they don't get off their arses and sign up.

and..the other lot ...20..I'm re-signing too.

So between my cousin and myself there will be 30 odd renewals and probably about 10 more new....plus mercahdise...should cost me around $2K, and I haven't earned a cracker in the last 12 months. When we launch our new business this week, I hope to improve my offer to the club for the 2008 season.

We must maintain 2006 membership numbers if not increase to the 30,000 mark, with the aim to be over 40,000.

40,000 = Powerhouse.

We'll get there if we tap into the supporter base interstate, and the Melbournian heartland does their bit for the club. Come on Melbournians.
