With all the discussion going on about our current woes, I can't help but return to the board. In particular, the process by which our board is selected. I have lost track a little I admit, but it used to be the case that only a very small proportion of our members were actually eligible to vote. This leads to us acquiring a board not truly representitive of our people. Only a genuinely democratically elected leadership group can fix our problems. So I have two questions: 1. Is this still the case? 2 if so how can we fix this? Seems to me until we all have a voice, we can shout about the board all we want but we will be only doing it on tc.

They need to reduce the number of board menbers. its not like it is a multinational corporation with areas of expertise and speciality required of mutliple directors.

Good governance suggest 7 max but 5 ideal with more reular reporting and strict term limits of office

Disagree champ they need to expand the board and bring in frash ideas if we have 4 or 5 only they might not see what needs to happen with a larger number it may bring fresh ideas
