It is funny how everyone reads their agendas into it. People who want the Pagan and the Board out, read it one way while others another.

The fact is we do not know why they want to leave, and until we do this is all just a bit of fun specualtion.

Near all players have re-signed, so I wouldn't go as far as the whole we are all stuffed and terminally ill, but it is very important that the reasons for the departures are analysed to see if they could have been resolved.

Why did the cancer cross the road?
Did you hear the one about the cancer?
What did the old cancer say to the young cancer?
How many cancers does it take to change a light bulb?

isn't a cancer riddle more like: "why is cancer like foreign people?: because they get inside you and corrupt your system"

something like that??

The Russell situation has been coming for a long while now. I copped some flak on here a while back for stating that he wasn't a happy lad, but that's a fact, and the club has had a long time to deal with this but has done very, very little. Our player welfare management must come under some focus for this.

As I said before, we dont have decent player welfare management. Because of the financial situation the club has cut cost to the bone everywhere. Big mistake, they cut the gust out of the footy department, the marketing deaprtment and the membership department. All thses things are coming back to haunt us. Even the Tbird situation would not have happened had we decent resources for things like list management.

The key task for a new board will be to invest oin these vital areas without endangering the clubs finances. Not easy - but thats why we need a better board.

Again all these touchy feelings stuff, welfare management, what a waste of money,he wants to go home.He doesn't want some guy brain washing him to stay.

Yes it is a bit sensitive new age, but I'm sure it helps keep the guys feeling a sense of comfort, let alone helping the club's environment portray itself as a professional, modern, and caring with a human/ nuturing touch.

Thems the days we are living in. The world of western men has gone soft.
