The Ox on SEN said after six this evening to watch out for Bower as he is going to boom next year. Thought fellow Bowerites?

The Ox watched Bullants games every second week... probably just liked what he saw and sees him as T-Bird 2.0.

T-Bird on the out marks him sliding into the team perhaps.

I heard the Ox give Setanta a huge wrap about the same time 2-3 months ago. He thinks he has a big future. 8)

true. But do we really need to fawn over this clowns opinion of one of our players ? He also said that Hartlett and Russell wouldn't make it.

The Ox knows his VFL footy better than most. He likes Bower but wasn't sure on Hartlett. A couple of minutes later they were discussing Peter Everitt and the fact that he could also play down forward when resting from ruck duties. The discussion then moved to who would Hawthorn play on Everitt (assuming he has left them) down back - Brett Thornton's name came up and they ALL pissed themselves!. Thornton has become a laughing stock this week - good riddance to him I say!

Thornton has played on him before and beaten him easily. Maybe Ox should watch more AFL games.

Fev would destroy Thornton.

BTW a 22 year old Everitt would destroy Thornton.

How many minutes did Thornton play against Everitt?

Was Everitt injured? ie did he have to have an op the next week?

I just can't see Everitt as being Thornton's bunny.

I wouldn't be so sure about that. Thornton has some big scalps on his resume, bigger than Fevola.

Yep, he was always Manton's bunny

Yes, Thornton has done very well on occasions and in particular seems a capable opponent on a Mathhew Pavlich..

He has also looked out of his depth too on occasions when playing on the Halls, Browns, Riewoldts and Richo..

Fev lace out on Thornton, Thornton would struggle.. Add gibbs and murph and Fev would kick 6 on most players...

Hey, he did that this year! :P
