Thanks to the producers of the program, all the participants and especially Mots.

I am eager to see what happens after the crash itself. Being so young, I was not aware of the story or the aftermath......he sounds like one of the great could-have-beens.

Never belonged in that category Ox - he will always be a champion.

I'm not ashamed to say there were a few tears shed at the Supremo household the past two Wednesday nights.

Thanks FoxFooty - that was fantastic viewing.

On a night shift at the moment, and I've been trawling through the Blueseum. I must admit I'm most impressed. Kudo's to those involved. Anyways, I came across Peter Motley's profile, and it got me wondering how he's going these days. A true tragedy at the time, I'm sure I'm not the only one that would like to find out.
Anybody know?

Graeme, did you happen to catch the Headliners episodes about him on FoxFooty?

I'll dig up the thread about those shows and merge this one in with it. There is some good discussion in there.

In short though, he's doing pretty well all things considered. Lives in Glenelg, alone from memory, and seems a pretty happy guy understanding and frustrated about what could have been no doubt, but equally chuffed with the fact he's still alive.

Thanks for that CB, no I didn't see the episodes, I'm checking out the Carlton Torrent now...

By the way, this thread was a great read. :-D

Well, I've downloaded and watched both episodes. What a great show. I know Motts looked the goods, but when Kerna compares him to Hird but better, and taking mark of the year twice a week, that's a big wrap. And then for Neil Kerley to come out and say he could have possibly been the best footballer to EVER come out of SA is huge. The footage of Motts in action is awesome, we really did miss out big time on his talents. I also wasn't aware how serious his injuries were.

Thanks, guys, for putting me onto this. I will be giving a copy to my best mate for sure.

Umm, yeah, can someone direct me to whereever it is you can download this show?

I have no idea - although my shiny new imac makes things easy.

Excellent part 1. Was really moved when Molly was speaking. Had a little chuckle when Collo said it took a fair bit of work to get the 3 Sth. Australians across to the blues 8) .
Would be a shame if any blues fan missed this.

Budzy, you're a star mate. I'll seed it for a week or so too.

There's a link in the quote above.

Cheers, Graeme.
