WTF

Another 5 Interstate so we go to Subi twice AAMI once GABBA and SCG?

We've gotta start pulling big crowds again - this sucks!

6 Interstate. Carrara vs Kangaroos. So much for buying a 17 game membership.

 Missed Braddles post

There's positives to this though Mjonc. Some of us have been buying memberships for years with little to no prospect of getting to games. I first joined in 2002, and have seen one home game in the flesh in that time. At least you'll get to more games than me in 2007 - I might make it to three next year (and two of those are away at Carrara and the Gabba).

Keep your chin up. If you buy the 17 game membership you are not only keeping the footy club alive - you are also helping to promote it to a national audience. In short - you will become a 'brand building' member. You can join those of us who have been doing this for years, and become a lifeblood source for the club. Well done!

Sunday twilight game in the last round means we have less time to prepare for the first week of finals than the other clubs.

Seems like a fair fixture for us.

Cannot complain if the club request to play interstate, I know they always request 2 games in Perth becuase of our strong supporter base has happened for years.

There is plenty of support and sponsors money in WA for us and I would rather travel to Perth than bleaksville Adelaide to watch the boys.

I personally don't care, but there are people in the world who have nothing better to do than point this out and want money back as they could only attend 16 Melbourne games.

We play Essenon, Kangaroos and Melbourne in the last 3 rounds. Handy if we're battling for a place in the Top 4 :-D

It actually isn't a bad draw. Not sure how our FTA will go but lets see.

Friday night home games are a huge bonus for the corporate bookings. Until we start getting a decent run there, we will be behind the 8 ball financially.

But crap if we're on 4 wins with 3 games to go, gunning for picks 1 and 2 in next year's draft

I've got it at about 9. If we get anything between 9-12 we haven't done too bad considering. Fingers crossed.

Are they going to make up for the extra game for the 17 game membership as clubs like Hawthorn do?

Of course, Collingwood again got an armchair ride.

No interstate trips after round 12 for Collingwood .... GRRR

Don't worry about Collingwood BR, the MCG might be their palace but finals they will not see in 2007.
