I personally think next year's draw is great but I would love to know what some of our players think of our draw. Any inside news?!?

One game in Melbourne between June 15 and July 28 is rough - I hope the club will push hard to have the three interstate games shown on FTA during this period, lest it be a very dry spell for Melbourne-based supporters.

Lance Whitnall was on the radio this morning and said it was a good draw, which it is. I haven't read many other responses to this - but Ben Buckley has done a good job here...our draw is much more favourable than the Bombers...I'm happy with it - will go to the Gold Coast in mid-May and therefore I'm rapt!

The AFL is really trying to kick us while we're down...

After looking at who we play twice, I think we'll really struggle to get a priority draft pick

I love the fact that we play most of our games on Saturday. It will feel just right going to the footy again. One or two more Friday night games would have been good, but I am not complaining.

Saturday afternoon will always be the best time for football.

I think from a membership point of view, its a good draw. Our horror run of 4 intersate games in 7 weeks statrts round 13. So we have a good chance of attracting members early.

When was it enshrined that Collingwood would only ever get 4 interstate games hence promtping so called inform comment in the papaers today that "Collingwood got their usual allotment of only 4 interstate games"?

This is a farce!

And more proof why the AFL is the most poorly run professional body in the world. And lets not even get started on doing the draw BEFORE resolving the Foxtel issue.

They get them because Victorian clubs want to have home games against them

The Pies have the best bloody draw ever seen!!! It will just be fun to watch as they completely f#@k up another finals series!!

As for the baggers, 6 interstate trips is rough on any team let alone the back-to-back spooners.

Loving the Saturday arvo and evening games and less Sunday afternoon games.

I didn't realise that the AFL actually took EVERY clubs wishes into consideration.

I thought a level playing field would play a part in the draw and not just wanting to play the Wobbles to take the gate receipts.

If TV viewing is a major criteria for the AFL, then I would think having the Wobbles play away, would improve TV ratings enormously or is that just a crock that they shove down our throats?

What do we all think of the Sunday twilight games?

Personally I don't think I'll mind them to watch or listen to at home (non Carlton games). Extends the footy weekend which isn't a bad thing. But as for actually attending them it's a bit of an awkward time…glad we've only got 2. I can't see them being big crowd pullers.

Like others I'm happy with our allotment of Sat games.

I don't mind them. For my own greed I am glad they are at the G rather than the Dome (the walk home is quicker!!). I enjoyed the one in Round 1 this year against the Dees. Allowed me to get drunk at the Grand Prix and then stumble on over to scream the baggers home to a rare victory!
