Fevola is our best kick by a mile. He rightly deserves the "WOOF!!!" 8)

I'm reserving it for Hartlett because he's a tall defender and it fits. 8)

I hope he can get his body right and we can see those long raking kicks which can clear the centre square in the AFL. :-D

You've got the full confidence of the board, woof.

Wouldn't yelling out WOOF be a mite distracting for Fev when he is lining up outside 50????

At the start of '06 I would have hated Fev to be named Captain, but I actually think there are some real positives:

1) He is one of our only players that has a real profile in the media
2) He is obviously passionate about the footy club
3) His performance this year
4) Staying off the piss for the whole of the '06 footy season, and more importantly, already saying that he'll stop drinking after New Years until the end of the '07 season
5) He's about the right age to do it for 2-3 season until someone like a Murphy steps up and is ready
6) He's one of the only older candidates that is basically guaranteed to be on the list for a number of years to come.

It would be a risky choice in the eyes of the board, which is why we won't do it. But it would signal a change in the CFC and that we are prepared to take a risk. It might also inspire Fev to even bigger things.

With some question marks over Whitnall and Stevens, I can't think of another candidate, and I don't think Kouta should keep it, because we might want to drop him occassionally next year to give more game time to some kids.

C'mon guys - you've had since 1998 to bestow it to Fev and no one did - it's too late. Someone just needs to tell Chris Bryan that he has the greatest opportunity in the history of ruckman to make this job his and stop pissfarting about with little chip kicks. he must have too many Collingwood genes in his system to recognise this fact.

Whoever it is must be a regular in the first 22.

It's certainly a waste of the heritage call with Bryan.

Not sure the 'woof' is an annointed thing. I don't think we should be sitting down and working out which player it suits best.

The 'woof' is a unique thing that has been automatically, spur of the moment, bestowed onto two highly respected players from the CFC.

I think that it needs to be something that evolves naturally, we will know who it is when it comes.

Change it to "POOF!" and give it to Nathan Brown... that's Rnd 1 out of the way! Round 2?

You can't decide who to give the woof to. It just happens. Like magic. The gods look down and one day we all start woofing.

Alos, I like woofing a guy who kicks 70 metres (Byron). If only he could get a game that would help.
