I know Barnsey posted this in the delistings thread - but surely a Mikey and Dan article deserves its own thread 8)

A good interview with young Craig Flint

Did this have anything to do with my private rant Molly?

Yes... and the fact that it does genuinely deserve to be read by the majority of the TC crowd.

:-D

The idea that Molly was responding to my emotional state or the promotion of Flint? In regard to the latter, I think it was his fine VFL form and the fact that we are in desperate need for a clever 6 foot 4 defender to support the team next year. As such I had the man promoted.

Problem is Molsey that you are on fire... but so is Fev, and now I suspect that the 'In Like Flint' interview is going to be relegated to an almost non-existant status. Much like your lunch hour today I guess :?

Jarusa... stop stirring :-D

Let's hope that in the St Kilda game next year the two teams huddles are not too close together at quarter time, Flinty may accidently brush against Anthony Rock and things could fire up from there.

Good story but this was the best part and it points to an exciting future for the Blues. :)

In a footy equivalent of a famous movie saying, ‘There’s nothing like the smell of footy in the pre-season’ - and the promotion of a Rookie, together with the retention of 2 more of our favourite Rookies in Ryan Jackson and Aisake O’hAilpin, adds weight to the development path of the Blues. And what a path it looks like – Murphy, Kennedy, Bower, Edwards, Simpson, Blackwell, Bentick, Setanta, Russell and Hartlett plus our bunch of early 20 somethings and the New Blues are upon us.

The player interviews are a fantastic initiative for the club and it's supporters.

Interviews with the kids really embraces them into the club culture.

Only criticism is that 20 questions should be asked in 2007.

Without the interviews we would have little insight in these kids' minds and aspirations.

Congratulatins, Mike and Dan...and great timing too.

Welcome to the Carlton Team List Flinty....you'll be tagging Reiwvolt this year...I looked forward to great things to come.

Good reward for good effort. And i too for one would like to see more interviews with the younger guys. Maybe Smorgons PR hack is reading this thread and will take it too the board

gee i didn't realise flinty was so tall. 192 cm is a handy size for a 3rd or 4th defender. especially seems he is a good running player

Yeah, would have liked Action Man to have gotten a slot. Maybe after the Draft if we don't use 'em all
