Just when someone is crying out to be put in a headlock, our best headlocker is in transit. Consider yourself lucky, pruneface.

Let's keep talking about Fev's indiscretion because it's a good distraction.
Quote:
Valmorbida, like Bruce Mathieson, is expected to resign on December 18. Both men cannot grasp why the Blues' administration still has no acceptable business plan for the future.

Quote:
still has no senior figure running its football operation or player development area — an area Fevola surely could use, not to mention the young list supposedly being groomed. The AFL is asking the same questions.

Quote:
Diggins is believed to have asked some serious questions regarding the Blues' business plan, its football department structure and the performance of Malouf. She, too, could pay the price for those questions. Should she and Valmorbida choose to stay and fight for their concerns, the situation could get interesting.

Quote:
The club has appointed a new fitness and conditioning man but still has shown no signs of boosting its recruiting stocks, player development or football operation despite its problems in contracting players.

We started training on Monday yet the Dogs have appointed people to these positions before they resumed training(I think). :?

Is this a concern?

Quote:
The Western Bulldogs have appointed former St Kilda assistant coach Jason Mifsud as their development coach.

In the newly created position, Mifsud will specialise in assisting first, second and third year players and focus on the club's alignment with Werribee Football Club.

"With over 10 years coaching experience, Jason will be a great asset to our Club," said Dogs coach Rodney Eade.

The Bulldogs also appointed Luke Meehan as a full-time assistant in the physical performance area and Nick Austin to assist in statistical and opposition analysis and IT.

Well we deserve every bit of muck we get (most of it). Fev has embarrassed himself and the club. Our administration still has not got its act together.

She starts off strong, puts in a few good points, then loses her cool and starts lighting CFC effigies.

Oh well Caroline, hopefully next time turns out better for you.

Juzz has a short memory, and Caro lacks real research

Some statement released a week ago wrote:
As well as his role as the senior coach of the Northern Bullants, Mitchell will work in the Football Administration Department at Carlton specifically in the areas of player development and recruiting.

She's got an agenda.

She's very sour on Carlton; it's becoming monotonous.

In fact, so monotonous is her gripe with Carlton, I find it easy to ignore her by tuning out.

Caro's a real dribler nowdays.

Good point jimmae....

....she doesn't do any research. She listens whilst hiding around corners, and sometimes sound travels slow when you get to her age....she's a gossip monger.

Why doesn't she report on the football; that's what I want to read about. Does she ever go to training sessions at club ground's or is she a snooper through the hearsay phone.

I find it amazing that TCers can bag the club along the lines of this article everyday, but the minute it's done by someone outside the club it is an outrage. :?

Graeme, how is it the Club's fault that Fev lost his cool while having a drink in another country? Is it my employers fault if I go to a bar tonight and get into a scrap! There is no substance to her article. It is just Carlton bashing for the sake of it. Until we start winning more games, people like Caro will not relent.

I understand what you're saying, I'm merely pointing out that there are plenty of Carlton bashers on here that don't draw the flak that Caro has. I guess they won't stop until the Blues start winning more games as well. 8) As for Fev, there's only one person to blame there.

And it's not Jeff Kennett.

But us supporters are different, we are allowed some leeway because we LOVE Carlton and want to see it go from strength to strength. If you love someone you criticise them at times so they don't make mistakes again, we criticise because we want the club to do better, it bleeds us to see the club making mistakes (in the said people's opinion) and we point it out. We bleed therefore we vent, people like Caro just riticse because they are enjoying it while we are down!

Yeah point taken, defenite difference shown in your post, I must admit night shift does make me a bit grumpy.
I also suspect that people like the afore mentioned need to do their bagging in a hurry because there isn't much time left :P

Can someone here please enlighten me. A number of articles recently have indicated that "Diggins is under pressure to keep her seat on the board" or similar.

Is this code for something we do not know about?
How can someone be pressured?
She was elected by the members, surely she can only be removed by being defeated at an election?
Do they have pictures of her with The Spew?

Can anyone expalin what is really happenng?

When a STRAIGHTSOOTING guy like Bruce Mathieson is unhappy with the direction the footyclub is going... pay attention!!.. (after all he is an EXREMELY LOYAL bloke and also on the board)

Plus he was to contribute a shitload to the club (as a going away present) and hasnt...just goes to show he has NO FAITH.

But he will still give us a going away present.......
