Do you reckon he'll apologise to everyone and then close with "Oh yeah and for you Sheedy, Payback's a b!tch"

Interesting...I view Fevola's actions as worse than ripping an ATM or stealing a bus. At least with those, no one else is hurt or impacted (although businesses are). Fevola's actions directly impacted on the well being of another person...unacceptable.

one headlock > ripping an ATM off the wall =

one headlock > stealing a bus =

Our prison system would be very quickly overloaded if this was the case

Yep....a day at the Galway Races; then a pub crawl....sounds like a lot of fun to me....they're young kids earning big money....why not?

He has JUST gone a tad too far....and been caught.....it's happened before at Carlton; and it'll happen again.

I dont understand why AFL Management allowed the group a day off between games - with what amounted to a veritable license to "tie one on".

You wouldn't see an AFL club giving a mid-week licence between games to allow players a night out.

This squad was there on a mission - there would have been ample time for a day or two of R&R immediately after the second game.

And another thing the apparent player to AFL official ratio was about 2 officials for every player - where the @#$%&! were they????

Its tantamount to putting the Mice in charge of security of the cheese factory, or is that the Cats in charge of the meat factory.

Evicted from Ireland to Australia over a misdemeanour...

Jeff K is behaving more and more like Big Jack. Mind your own business and looking forward to next time a Hawks player is in trouble. In the mean time... STFU...

Barman to press charges.

The saga continues.

Did anyone hear the interview replayed by SEN with the barman? He was almost in tears just talking about it. I'm sure being assulted isn't particularly pleasant, but almost cracking up just talking about it 24 hours later? What the hell?

On the back of the sniping by the Irish during the international rules, and then them kicking up a stink afterwards it really makes you wander what's going on over there.

Right, fair is fair, I have had enough of this fu**ing shit!!!!!!!!!
WE DID NOT/ ARE NOT/ WILL NOT SNIPE ABOUT IT. IT IS ONE PERSON.
If the barman is still getting upset about it, maybe Fev should have hit him a slap. I love most guys on here, but my God!!! there are some God almighty knobs at the same time!!!!
The media are the ones geting on and cribbing about it. Now how many times in how many posts are the Aussie media slated in here for selective printing and slanted coverage, do you nbot think media the world over are guilty of sensationalism???
Please lay off the Irish are whingers remarks.

To behonest BC, I love the Aussies and I know most do here as well, two years ago had great craic with them at the INT RULES and a few beers after it.
Have to admit, when I first heard the story my first thought was, Barman was rubbing it in and Fev had a few and had enough, thought it was no more than horseplay at first.

Look, although it might not mean anything (the tour) is all principle lost, he was here representing his Country, does no-one value that at all??
He could have gone on the sauce for a week here after next Sunday, when it was all over.
I was really looking forward to seeign him play the game, I like fev, from what I have met of him, he's a good guy and was pleasant to me.

BTW, in todays paper there is a double page spread on it, I can scan it when I get home tonight and put in on here, would anyone be interested????

And I see Fev is in Europe for a few days. Isnt Oktoberfest on around now, or maybe its Prague, about $1.50 a pint of beer???

Ok, the barman thing was a little cheeky. One sniffly barman says nothing more than there is one sniffly barman in Ireland.

But the campaign by the GA and the media over there after last years series was rediculous. The agro came from both sides last year, Chris Johnson's coat hanger last year was over the top but he got rubbed out for it. The campaign kept going right up until last weekend's game and pretty much ruined at least the first half. The aussies had clearly been read the riot act and they were overly careful about any contact. It was just boring. Although it didn't stop the sniping by the irish, at least that's how I saw it on Tv. I noticed the only player up on a rough conduct charge after the first match is an Irish player, and all it got was a single paragraph at the bottom of another article here.

If it's all just the media and the GA fine. But why would the media kick up a hugh stink about something no one cares about? That doens't sell papers.

I'm just sick of the whole "we're just amateurs" blah blah stuff that never ends about this series. Step onto the field and everyone is equal as far as I'm concerned. Anything else and don't play. All this crap just over shadows what could be a good series, and I don't understand why.

Is that fair? I dunno but I reckon it's the real reason the series struggles for acceptance over here.

This tool barman is like the Irish I.R. players last week, they snipe away and then it's i'm an amateur angel when they get exactly what they asked for.
