Ch7 has probably done Fev a massive service. I haven't seen it, but if what you guys are describing is correct, then the Irish come out of this looking stupid.

I'd like to know why the Aboriginal players have been gagged. Denial is the first sign of truth. Pathetic behaviour if it's true and as a result they have been gagged. Have the AFL learnt nothing since Nicky Winmar?

Given AD's penchant for minimal PR damage and maximum corporate spin it is no surprise he has gagged the whole squad. Funny thing is he didn't get to Raines in time!

Realistically, the AFL could not be seen to be supporting such claims without overwhelming evidence as it would be a diplomatic disaster. However, the way AD and co. have tried to discredit Fev and humiliate him is unacceptable and I hope it is not forgotten.

Fev mighn't be the sharpest tool in the shed but he appears a hell of a lot more honest then AD and his lap dog who are renowned schizen spinners and regularly mislead and lie to achieve outcomes for their own good.

For all their outrage and condemnation, they have been quick to dismiss the possibility of further sanctions on Fev because they know the various parts they play in this saga and the bullsh!t concept and junket this tour is on a whole is deplorable and they want to batten down big time!!! This is in itself a hypocrisy and an indication of how compromised they actually are

Pretty much endorsed Fev's comments about the abuse and possible racial slurs. Cant remember verbatim but he reinforced that the players are copping it over there and he was at the casino when some heavy taunts were thrown towards the playing group. Something along those lines. Seen it a couple of times on the various news

The thing that really astounds me is how quickly the AFL have hung Fev out to dry. Authorities are still trying to gather facts, media is lathering and inflaming but the AFL burn one of their own without a seconds grace or consideration.

Fev probably should learn to spin sh!t a bit more because one of his flaws is that he is probably too honest. When Fev said he didn't hit him I believed him and when he said he and the squad had been subjected to racial abuse I believed him.

Fev's a straight down the line, no nonsense fella. He tells it as it is. Yes, he is prone to the occasional brain implosion but he pretty much talks honestly.

The AFL's behaviour towards Brendan, however, is absolutely atrocious. I cant believe how quickly they have looked to discredit and humiliate him and offer no assistance or care for one of their own. I sure as hell wouldn't be forgetting it!

I do want to mention that I think that what Fev did was without doubt the wrong thing to do but the way the media and AFL have allowed this to escalate and get out of hand like it has is ridiculous.
