What about that arsehole Brendon Gale, he was over their and crucified Fev as well. Is he suppose to be representing the best interests of the players or not.

He needs a rocket up his arse as well and i hope he gets whats coming to him.
Like Lee Harvey Oswald .. Fev wasnt alltogether innocent and an angel.

But the fact remains that they allowed the coleman medalist to be crucified and just stood back for the benefit of an alien game.

Totally agree, but do the arseholes at the AFL have a duty of care in these situations, if so the Club or Fev should take action and put them through the ringer.

the damage that Demetriou allowed to happen to our very own code and this club for the artificiality of a nothing game is a digrace.

Talking about taking your eyes off the football you grub!!!..
Its just ego ....!!!!

No doubt the AFL crucified Fev and to an extent Carlton, nothing new there but where was Fev's support from the CFC!

We should have come out and protected him in some fashion. Fly him back to Melbourne and put it too bed quickly. Channel Ed took control (again) and turned the Fev incident into a circus while we where doing what again?

He was a last minute replacement so its not as if the club was on standby for months.

I still don't understand why that *edit* was over there. I can understand Keane being there as he is the communications manager. But what useful purpose did it serve having Jabba over there. You don't see Colin Love jetting off to UK when the Kangaroo's are in the Tri-Nations.

WHY WAS HE THERE?

That was the first time that Lance hasn't been endorsed by one of the players as the captain in waiting. I think it was positive that one of our senior players put forward the idea of a younger player being given the gig, it shows commraderie within the group and that he cares where the team is going after he retires. I'd personally be happy to have kouta keep it for another year with a view to have Walker or Simpson take over from 08.

Like I said last week, Fev may be a lot of things, but I don't think he's a liar.

The AFL is a disgrace and is run by people who I don't trust.

You can't ask the club to do any more than it has done. It's not their comp and not in our timezone. The AFL were on the ground and should have dealt with the situation much better than they did.

I wanna know where the @#$%&! his manager was immediately after the event. Did he advise him to talk to 9 and then disappear?

#1 - The AFL should have arranged a ticket HOME for him rather than cutting him lose

#2 - His manager should have spoken to him to make sure #1 was done and that no media was considered until he got back to OZ.

The AFL have got some questions to answer but no doubt they'll spin crap and the media will swallow it like a $2 hooker.

Demetriou is used to bullshitting.

He is also the author of the 'One Hand Karma Sutra'..

The AFL clearly do not know how to run a Touring Party of players who are not only representing the AFL but their country.

The AFL clearly organised it along the lines of a Country Football Club trip to the Gold Coast.

The AFL has no clue.

But we can rest assured that "Demetrispew" wasnt drinking.
