Pagan is going to coach us to finals apperances and premierships. We had to have two years at the bottom to get quality kids such as Murphy, but we now have the kids who can step up and take us to finals football and grand finals. Pagan is still the one to lead us back to the top of the ladder in my opinion.

Welcome to TC, jeano.

I totally disagree with your opinion, but everyone has the right to voice it.

The cattle he has had to work with has been ordinary but as it has been said on so many occasions many of the players dont relate to him well and there are better coaches.

He has to change otherwise he wont see out 2007. That gets harder imo the older you get. And thats speaking from personal experience.

Welcome to TC anyway

Gutsy post Jeano, like standing in the space in front of Plugger.
I think Pago was a great coach in the 90's too.
The greats like Barassi, Jeans, Parkin, the guy who looked like Rolf Harris who coached the little league, there's a reason why they don't coach anymore:Tempus fugit.

yes well here's hoping

and if not

here's hoping the club do something instead of fiddling.

in the end though its like a pyramid balanced on its point - at some moment the shift is too great to stop the fall. I think we may have passed that moment.

The only query i have with Pagan was his game plan at the start of 2006 and whether he has lost the players. I'm waiting for round 8 to decide IMO if he has a future.

I think everybody here know's how i feel about Pagan and his coaching....................but i can honestly say that i hope he prooves me wrong.

Hell, he's got my phone number for god sake and i encouraged him to phone me next year when we're about to make our first finals appearance in 5 years and laugh at me and yell out "i told you so, i told you so" like a two year old.

I don't think he will, but i am more than happy to be prooven wrong and with all honesty, i want to be proven wrong.

How does he prove anyone wrong?
Some of his list decisions and tactics over the past 5 years have been abysmal.
He may have suddenly taken a step into the 21st century and grasped the modern game but that doesnt excuse some of his past ineptitude.

I hope Pagan can transform himself and become a quality contemporary coach but to suggest that it proves his detractors wrong is short sighted.
