As the other thread is now about censorship, maybe we need a new thread to discuss the Board Challenge.

Synbad claims that it is on. Melvey is tipping that it will all be out in the open tomorrow (or at least I think that is what Melvey is claiming), and Jarusa is desperate to post more pictures of Harold Mitchell :-D

Anyway, let's make this thread about the Board Challenge - and the other one can be about censorship.

It doesnt just revolve around the bigman only. It is more the institution of an overall grand design with significant up front capital. Enough to shut up the Irish loving Dimwitspew.

If the challenge is chockers with your Mitchells' and your Pratts', plenty of moolah and a decent plan it is a shoe in.

The only question remaining is if the sections of the current board that will be replaced go quietly or with a fight.

Without a fight I would hope. It would be hard to knock back huge moolah , contacts, experience and massive business injection.

I for one would be carrrying a sign out the front of PP demonstrating otherwise.

Hey BH I have a look for a picture of Stuart but cannot find anything.

He has his old man's face but not his girth.

BH, how do you post a pic if you don't have a URL link?

You need to have the image 'hosted' on another web site. Luckily there are plent of free web hosting sites around.

Step:

1. Tpe image hosting into google

2. Pick an image hosting web site, I sometimes use: http://imageshack.us/

3. On the image hostimg website it will have a place to put in the path on your PC where you have the picture you want hosted. Either type in the path or use the Browse button to highlight the picture.

4. Click on host it

5. On the image hosting web site it will come up with a url for message boards along with several other options liek thumbnails etc etc. Highlight the one for message boards and then copy/paste it into your message here on TC.

6. Voila!! Image hosted. Try the preview post to check that it works.

Cheers

I would hope not. It would be hard to match his dads capacity in many ways. :-D

Indeed, and it has been moved to the TalkingIssues forum:

:) Just an update for all those who are waiting for a challenge, It looks like a compramise may be the best way of avoiding another shit fight.

The current Directors that would go are Graeme Smorgon, Marcus Rose, Simon Wilson and possibly Adrian Gleeson. Sticks should do the right thing and resign also however he won't....

A Board consisting of Greg Lee, Richard Newton, John Valmorbida, Bruce Matheisen, Lorraine Diggins and ???????? and ???????? would change things significantly..... This will only leave John Valmorbida, Bruce Matheisen and Lorraine Diggins from the Carlton One Ticket. The ??????? people are well connected, powerfull and financial people who have not only the knowledge and pull to turn the club around but have the ability to inject significant funds and get people back investing in the club.

I can also tell you that the ??????? will also bring most of the current factions together and pulling in the one direction....

Stay tuned as the ????????? will be revealed shortly......

Sounds good. Except the Sticks part. Is the man ever going to take responsibility for anything?

That won't be enough to get rid of your sneaky leakers.

Not until the members speak up.

That mix leaves the Board very short of football knowledge. Only Kernahan, and perhaps ???????? or ???????.
