A year is a long time in football, how long is 18 months?

Put your money where your mouth is and actually say something before the event instead of enlightening us with your 20/20 hindsight.

How is this for hindsight just 6 weeks after he was re- signed

Sydney Blue Wrote- First ever post

Pagan is not the man that is going to lead Carlton to the next Flag , we should have never signed him on for three years . In all my years of following The Blues i have never seen a side as badly coached as this one.
Cut Pagan now and start to rebuild as soon as possible

Credit where it's due - you've stuck to your guns all this time.

Excellent thread.

At the time of his re-appointment, I wasn't pleased or otherwise, but couldn't work out why there was such a rush. It wasn't as if there were other clubs clamouring for his services.

Have a laugh Agro, we all get it wrong sometimes.

Quite happy to have a laugh - I will be the first one to admit my joy at Pagan's re-appointment and contract extension was misplaced and THAT I WAS WRONG (not even Fonzie could say that :P ).

The point I was making is that at least there are some people on this forum willing to make an argument and decent discussion PRIOR to something happening as opposed to other people who wrap themselves in a SHROUD or TEATOWEL or whatever and happy to make themselves look like a PROPHET with perfect 20/20 hindsight.

It's blind optimism I'll have to stop ready the training reports

To be fair though, Agro ...

Do a search on CG's posts at TBV and he was making predictions and, apart from 'Lappin will be our next captain', got a lot of them right.

I guess it's the curse of the internet forum that your views are still there to be seen a few years later. Bit of a wanker thing to do trawling up old posts - funny though.

Unfortunately I can't post images - but at this point I would think a "claw type" rubber handle and "steel 3inch" would look perfect.
