If the legal recourse is so clear then the club should go for it. I back it one hundred percent.

I tell ya what even though Big Jack got us into the mess in the first place he would of not stood by and let the AFL bend us over and F#$% us with a big black d!ldo! I have heard that many other clubs have done or doing what Carlton did back then. Going back a few years ago I heard West coast was breaching the salary cap. IT'S TIME TO PUT OUR GLOVES ON AGRO AND FIGHT THE AFL! Demetrispew is a malakismeno of the biggest kind and when FFA start taking over he will a goner!

I dont want to get into THAT debate - lets just call him a big fat pig - (apologies to the big fat pig lobby), there might also be a malikismeno lobby that may not be too keen on being associated with Demetrispew as well - you have to be very careful these days. :P

There is still time.

If the club had "balls" - and wasnt beholden to the AFL.

Precedent has been set by the AFL you can change the Draft order with less than 12 hours before the actual draft commences.

AGRO, we need to accept the fact that unfortunately our club is run by a pack of soft-c*ck, @rse-licking, bend-for-friend weak pricks who are simply too chicken sh!t to even contemplate standing up for themselves and our club.

The removal of the PP before the draft was an injustice on so many levels (based on our results in 2005-06) but we have acted like whimpering fools and meekly asked the AFL for a reconsideration of the rule. After the first no, we should’ve fired up but we cowered like mice.

Leuenberger or Hansen would’ve been nice but we have to look forward to 17 and 19 instead and hope for some gems. That’s the sad, cold hard truth. I’ve tried to keep the rage but it is pointless

Marciblue is right, was said the other day the Blues were not happy with the way the AFL treated Fev in Ireland, and yet the club won't make a formal complaint to the AFL... cause they are firmly planted up their ar$es and like being there.

AGRO I think it is unlikely anything will occur this year at this late stage.

However, if we are owed a priority pick (I hope so, but I doubt we will get it) then it would it would be ok to get it next year. That's not so bad (Kruzer maybe?).

The most important point is to get it, the timing is secondary.

Dennis.

I recall that in the week proceeding up to and during the Trade Period prior to the 2002 National Draft I was hoping beyond all hope that we would be safe from penalty because I thought the AFL would not be BASTARD cauliflower enough to change the draft order at that late stage.

The mere fact that the AFL were vindicitive enough to make sure that they ran there Kangaroo Court investigation and their Kangaroo Court Commission meeting hours before the 2002 National Draft and to not only screw with us but to screw with the "integrity" of the 2002 National Draft order sequence goes to show what a set up and a pre-determined wank that it was.

Well I was proved wrong the AFL were BASTARD cauliflower enough to @#$%&! around with the draft order at that late stage and manipulate the process to penalize us back to the stone age.

If there is any hope there is hope enough in the 120 hours before this National Draft starts and hope that the "big news before Friday" happens and that the first item on the agenda of "big news before Friday Team" is to use the legal advice they have and run like all hell to the Prothonatory's Office (or Master Barkers Office I'm not sure which Legal Process 101 was a long time ago  ) at the Supreme Court of Victoria with a writ of Interlocatory Injunction - and @#$%&! THE CURRENT AFL PLAYER RULES WHERE THEY BELONG - BACK to STALINIST RUSSIA.....

I think you are referring to the legendary New Zealand Medium Pace Bower - Bob Cunis who Ian Chappell referred to as being neither one thing or another. :P

Similarly, it seems to put a whole new spin on the derivation of the PUNT kick then.
