Might be a good idea if you could retire from carlton and take up a professional gig as a dancer.
that way it opens up more opportunties for one of our kids to get a game that you would otherwise be denying.

Let's keep the thread about him winning and not an excuse to bag him.

I thought this forum was about footy and not dancing so can't I then express my opinion on the topic.
If this topic was in talking entertainment then I would not have posted.
Simple facts about footy is that Kouta is denying a young kid an opportunity to get a game. 1995, 1999, 2000, and 2001 are long over.

The cup is always half empty for some people

I thought Kouta was a great ambassador for the club throughout the competition, the last dance was fantastic and he gave a very poised speech at the end. It would be great if his performance gets us some more members.

A great bit of publicity for the club all around...

I'm curious to see whether the exercise regime from dancing has an impact on keeping injury free and **crosses fingers** his form also.

Maybe see some of the kouta of old next season? :-D

On an aligned matter, any chance the club will release a Kouta dvd etc in his his final footy year as a nice little marketing earner?

I tend to think the exercise he did during this competition will do his body wonders next year. There's a lot stretching in dancing so I reckon that will be great for his aging body. I think he'll come back in tip top condition.

It was great to see Ang in the crowd, reminded me of his exploits on the field.

Some people have no idea.

So the reason we won the spoon last year was 'cos Kouta was filling a spot in our best 22 instead of giving the likes of Bryan, Sporn or Livo a few more games.

It was interesting that Natalie asked him to lay off the weights and suggested that he still needed work on his fitness.

Haha, I thought it was funny that Mrs Kouta was happy to get on stage between the two of them after they won too. :P

Do we need to remind about personal attacks on other posters?
