I know it's a members' meet-n-greet, but if I'm not able to make it due to quirks of geography, can I send someone in my stead who may not be a member?

AHEM! She's no tart, she's a very sweet young girl who does some modelling.

I have been informed I have to go to this, but given I'm not a member I don't really see how.

Sorry KK, no offence intended. Tart must mean something more than it does here.

You wont have to be a member to go on the 8th, maybe a little donation or support for the club would help get you in.

SHould be a pretty good day, as will the "whats in store for 2007 function" hosted by the Women of Carlton for all supporters.

I will be going to both, as i have in the past.

Strongly recomend going to one or even both to all supporters, alot of fun for those carlton fanatics!

Another odd decision by the club to hold it on a friday!!

Think its so it follows the official welcome to the club from the night before at the Whats in Store Function.... even still odd timing - could just have it the Sunday.

will there be a place we can meet TCers? I am planning to attend along with my 5 year old and it would be good to meet some of the TC family

That's pretty disappointing if true for someone who wants to be club captain. Not good enough Lance.
Glad you enjoyed the afternoon TBG. Hope everyone who went enjoyed the afternoon.

Yeah I have to say I thought it was pretty bad form as well, especially if he wants to be captain. Kouta was amazing had his little boy with him the whole time, talking to everyone the way a leader of our club should be!

Very pleased with the day. Trainig was interesting to watch - particularly with 3 grandchildren and Mrs Acudoc along for thr show, Free Footballs with $1 sausages on bread great and got to meet Clint who was very happy to be part of the day. Granted some did not appear but the club and the boys deserve much kudos from all members who were able to attend. We also passed the magic 10000 members - 2 weeks ahead of the club's best expectations. :-D :-D :-D

He did an interview on SEN from the Shop so I'd say he was out and mixing enough.

Some are better at leading off field, some are better at leading on field.

And yet most suggest Fev should be captain and it sounds like he didn't front at all

Fair enough, but at the end he got up on the stage said a few words then ran back to the rooms right away when I think he could have spared 5 or 10mins to sign a couple of autographs for the kids that were there waiting.

I think that is an important quality for our captain to have as well, being approachable for the fans.
