If Spoons has a problem with the board, he knows where the door is.

If the board has a problem with Spoons they should resign, and let people with money come to the club, and pay him out.

Self interest is driving both sides.

From the first article "...Adding to the AFL's anxiousness is an expected challenge to Carlton directors, with at least two wealthy and well-connected businessmen preparing to make public their plans to join the board..."


If these two people can help to solve the club's financial problems, I cant see why the AFL would be anxious about the idea

They are Smorgon buddies I believe to replace those against him (Diggins and Val). That was the talk a few weeks back anyway.
