who says they're a year off playing senior footy?
Well Pagan the coach of Carlton has stated that Aisakie is a year off from playing footy.
Jacobs is a rookie which means if all players are fully fit then he cannot play senior footy anyway. We have elevated two rookies already and only Steven will be out for the whole year so it will be hard for Jacobs to make it but not impossible not sure if he has played any Bullants senoior games yet he did well in the bullants reserves.
And Hampson is probably the only really chance to get a few games this year although he was probably the forth choice ruckman at the start of the year due to injuries he might be the second choice. But he hasnt been banging on the door hard enough in the Bullants to wake up our sleepy coach Pagan

Firstly, I don't think Pagan said he was a year off, but said he would be in the team this time next year.... if I remember that right, there's nothing stopping him being in the team this time this week as well.
Jacobs ok is a stretch as he's yet to play Bullants seniors and is recovering from injuries... but lets assume that McLaren or Cloke are LTIs.
Again, unless you can convince me that Hampson will get injured in the firsts, the "not ready" stuff is subjective.
BUT, is it true we get smashed in the middle? the first few rounds we did very well in centre clearances.... I don't remember the stats but unless thats declined rapidly, my belief is that we've improved a lot in clearances this year... irrespective of which ruckman wins the tap.
