Midfield got absolutely slaughtered that qtr

Our kickouts have been woeful - nothing has changed

Yet when the opposition kick in we provide no resistance at all

I reckon Denis needs to give the blokes a bit of a rev at half time, we're lucky to still be in the game, and if we think we're in it one only needs to look at the scoring shots to see we need to raise our game.

With you on that, except for the Campo, he's been average, IMO.

Yeah a few dodgy ones, hopefully will even up in the 2nd half.

Diggers has been very good across half back.

Cannot accuse him of HBR, he is leading our marks!

Should have mentioned walker as well.

So his new name should be UCM?

What has been very frustrating is that we can't seem to able to do the basic things - they constantly handball to a teamates foot, meaning they get crunched and fumble the ball. Our kicks aren't to advantage - we can never get run going

AW has done very well on Mcleod........it is very good for his development playing on guns, he gets lead to the ball and will be able to learn from this

Blues are getting killed at the stoppages, putting our defence under huge pressure. Thornton and Livo are doing well considering. Nice to see a CHB and FB playing for once. Denis, please leave Lance at CHF. Our forward line is much better than the Crows, but we’re struggling to get it in there, but our conversion is good. If we can start getting some clearances we should be able to put some serious scoreboard pressure on. Still not playing well. The key is whether our midfield can improve in the 2nd half. Getting crucified by the umps, but you have to expect that when you travel there.

KK needs to consider watching the game without the wife :)

Very lucky. Adelaide players streaming forward again this week. Midfield are doing ok, but need to tighten up. Sooner or later they'll kick them.

Campo is going ok. His role isn't to win hard ball's and he takes his turn when he's in a position that he has to do it. Pretty obvious about him demanding the ball from other players, but again his disposal is better so why wouldn't you want him having the ball.

How good is Thornton?

Get rid of Houlihan, Walker runs 50 m or so and kicks perfectly on his left :D for the Blouse to mark overhead. Result Adelaide clear the ball as Houlihan doesn't even bother to put his arms and contest. If Lance or Fev go, Houlihan has to go first!
Great kick by Bentick as mentioned and he is one player that actually has good disposal. Walker has kept McLeod to 4 touches and now has the confidence to run off and create.Great move to put Betts and Walker on the ball.

Thought he did well in the first half compared to most of the team.

Would still like to see him as a permanent HFF though. Maybe next year when he is on less money. :)

I reckon we would actually have a good chance of getting a first round pick for Houla. He may be better trade bait than Whitnall.
