Last weeks game and attempt at looking like he was putting in was an attempt to impress Adelaide.

Guess it failed

Even if he wanted to go, who would want him?

I think Campos best work now is on the half forward flank...but not playing on the attacking defender.. but the lazy one ...I think Campo can kick goals if he was up forward.

Lets not kid ourselves he isnt a midfielder.. he isnt a run past player because he doesnt run hard enough to break the lines and his kicking isnt as good as it needs to be.
He is no good at defending a player... geeeez its getting quite limited for what Scotty can actually do.

In my opinion i want to see Andrew Walker given that role across half back flank.. because i know he is more accountable.. He would love running the lines and the freedom and also he can take a mark.

I hope to see Walker played there at some stage this year. (Hope its the stKilda game.. they cant counter it)... and the whole of next year before being thrust into the midfield proper.

Oh thats right.. this thread is about Campo and his worth to this team and a contract next year...

Also would like to see Campo as a HFF.

Wanna be careful there synbad, you are suggesting stuff that may actually help us win a few games.

J as long as its next year.. in the mean time Denis can use Campo as our go to man...and just sabotage any chance we have of winning 3 more id be happy.
Capo as the quarterback in any side is a rib tickler...

Iwonder if Campo demanded that position and made it his own.. he just seems to run past more players than anyone else..
You know that scene in the 3 Amigos where the villagers are dressed up as the Amigos and theyre everywhere shooting at the baddies???
Well... Campo is abit like those villages.. if you spot a player running past for the cheap kick its Campo...Campo running past for the hand ball here.. Campo running past for the hand ball receive there... Campo running past for the cheap handball EVERYWHERE!!!... before you know it hes knocked up 30 stats.. with intricate little one two hand ball receives...

Absolute gun footballer... best 650k this club has ever spent..

 I know what you were doing Sunday afternoon AGRO.... back to 'picks'

i look at a list like this.. you need lots of stars... not just one star like us... the more stars the better..

.. stars are like fingers... some clubs have one star others have ten stars...
But if you have only one finger.. you might be able to 'pick' your own nose but you cant flick it..

Thats not a priority pick....

The more stars you have the better...

But this is an interesting quote from the article, the last sentence, appropriately from La Bomba himself:
Quote:
"I've been here for 11 years and I'm sure it will be all sorted out and I can finish my career here."

Only thing is, he may get his wish a lot sooner than he anticipated....

He can easily play another 2 years and will be needed over that period given the quality and age of the squad. If he gets the chop a few youngsters may get a game before they deserve one, as there isn't anyone who deserves his spot. :D

Whatever anyone says he's been a great servant for this footy club and deserves to finish his career at Carlton. Anyone who plays 200 games of footy generally but especially for Carlton deserves respect.

Campo been a good player for Carlton he deserves respect, sure he can lose the plot, but a contract of $200,000 a year should be ok for another year even thou i reckon $200,000 is pretty high for a average player now, only concern is campo will get picked before some young guy get picked in the midfield when the reality is his only a short term fix for a couple of seasons.
