I think Setanta will play more games than not play next year.
Hes one of the most popular players at the club....
Dont worry his name isnt Linday or Corey... Denis likes him.

He wasn't dropped Beano - unfortunately the way the rules are structured meant he had to go back to the Rookie List when the injured player he was replacing had recovered from injury. Dont worry Beano he will be promoted to the Senior List come seasons end.

Good lad Synbad, Thanks a million Kiddo.
Joining the ranks of the vets 8)
The is another hurler, plays for Cork, Diarmuid O Sullivan, search at sportsfile.ie, nickname is the rock, big ass mo fo.
I know he cant be picked for the blues, but I took it that he was dropped from the Bullants, i know how the rookie and the LTI thing work. Is he in or out for the ants.
Synbad, im off now to get a new pet crab, wait till you see what Im gonna teach him to do.
I hear crab land luge is where its at, not ruling out surfing either, and when I teach him how to mark, jeez, look out

Dennis pagan interviewed on Sports SEN (Sports Radio Station here in Melbourne) this morning. Right at the end of the interview he was asked about Setanta. He obviously confirmed about the rookie list thing but he spoke a bit about Setanta. He mentioned how much Setanta has come on, he mentioned how Tadgh and Jim Stynes had taken 3 and 4 years respectively coming through the lower leagues before making it in the AFL. He actually said that, and I quote:

"...every game that Setanta plays at any level is an investment in the future for the Carlton footy club".

He said that he had absolutely no doubt that Setanta would make it as an AFL footballer. High praise indeed from Dennis, the man that can talk to the media for 20 mins and not actually say anything!!

Alright I am sorted now. Setanta will play this week, we can win 5.5 games for the PP and Carrazzo is eligible for the NRS. Good.
