Carrazzo and Bryan.
The development of Carrazzo continues to impress IMO. Whenever he got the ball he showed poise and confidence. Turning into a good player now that he's picking up the tempo at senior level.
Bryan must be retained on the list next year. Even though he tired in the last 1/4 he showed enough throughout the day to persevere with him. Fitness is the key.

The market value of Lance must have risen considerably on todays performance.

Bryan - shades of the Porter and Walker debut today. Well done son, we'll look considerably better with him and Barney in the team together.

Whitnall - Great to see him fire, was starting to think we'd never see it again. More please.

Carrazzo - Love his run from the backline. We could do with another of him for the midfield.

Waite - continues to improve.

Fevola - had a dirty day but did the team thing by keeping Barry out of it through the third and last 1/4.

Overall - a much better performance, despite the last quarter fade out.

We are slowly tightening the grip on bottom and a PP.

Lance showed us he can play CHF and have to ruck as well...

Bryan top possession getter for the Blues. He will sleep well tonight.

I was cracking the sh¡ts when it seemed as though we wernt playing at all, showed no fight and no passion at quarter time.

At the end of the game, we lost, it was dissapointing, but we faught to the end, Chris Bryan was good, as was a few other youngsters, besides winning the game, im proud of most of em.

Fevola kicking three goals yet being beaten is a plus and the old Fevola would have gone goalless

Lance - what can I say? I am a big critic and looked like a goose today. The same for the next 2 wks please.

Bryan - All of a sudden, ruck stocks look alright. What a debut! What is going on with that left foot? We have our own Stewie Dew.

Waitey - Superstar

The number one draft pick and priority pick that coming our way i hope,Chris Bryan and Senanta O'halipan even thou not playing in round 11 and the real positive at the end of the year the sacking of at least 8 players maybe more , i'm just getting excited maybe sacking of also The football selecting committee, fitness coach, skills coach

Rambo would sack at least 20 players but you can't do that unfortunately,
so thiscan't happen.

Good game by Lance today, i'll still trade him thou and possible Fevola if we get a great player for him or 2 high picks.

Andrew Carrazzo has done well , i would keep him as one of the players to survive , to tell the truth i didn't really want him in the team last year as i thought he was already finished as a reject as no other club wanted him, but he deserve to stay.

...that we could have won without some last quarter Pagan specials to put Whitnall in the ruck as Bryan tired, livo on the bench, morrell to full back. yes livo really stuffed up for o'l second last goal but we just lost it for a few minutes, losing the game....

but more importantly:

forward line firing despite being swamped and often being outnumbered (proves the swans defenders arent too good 1 on 1 but rely on a hard working midfield to stay competitive... something I don't think we have)

considerable number of centre clearances without campo and stevens playing in a true on-ball role.

chris bryan you rising star you (no, he is too old). great game.

but overall the biggest plus for me was:

THE WOOF!!!

Fevola's efforts today were very good.
I reckon the suspension has benefited him quite a bit and he has a new attitude and work rate.

Carrazzo's drive and poise out of the backline was brilliant.
Was in my best today.

Bryan was brilliant.
20 posessions and several hitouts, as Deano said, we are going to look a lot better with him and Barney in our side.
His long, long, LONG kicking should earn him the nickname "Woof".

Another positive is Byan getting a game and playing well this will give headache to who Carlton sack at the end of the year as his name would have been in the first 5, well done Bryan keep up the work and make those wankers job hard, stick it to them play everygame like it's your last so they dont choose you.

Very suprised re the positive comments on Fevola today.

3 incidents in 5 minutes in the last quarter left a lot to be desired.Twice he had possession on the wing with plenty of time and passed to Lappin who was two out and undersized.

Followed up with a chance to take possession 25 out but did,nt commit and instead tried a kick off the ground!

Similarly first quarter when he chose to try and bump Kennelly instead of tackling.Resulting in an easy clearance and goals.

Just does the dumb things too often!

Chris Bryan was terrific until he got tired, Lance was superb, Waite was very good but otherwise not much really......no other standouts...actually Carrazzo was good too.

Fev workrate is clearly better than it was in the past, he runs up the ground more nowadays to provide an option and whilst in a way this is good, to be honest I don't know if it helps us as a team. It's probably good for Fev personally in terms of instilling discipline and improving his workrate and you can see the message Denis is trying to send to Fev. But having him with the ball on the wing or in defence means we have nothing to kick to up forward, apart from Lance and a small who are generally going to be outnumbered.

The point is that Brendon is a full-forward and should stay there in the forward line. I'm sure we'd all rather he got all his kicks on the forward line and therefore had more shots for goal than having half as many shots for goal but more kicks up the ground. I know he still managed to kick 3 but we should just accept that he's a full-forward who does his best work closer to goals. We should therefore make sure he stays in the fifty-metre arc or at worst 70-80m from goal.

That would be mad, i hope the fans all start saying woof for every bryan kick, i lloved doing it for ang, its a real bizz all over the ground at a packed house and maybe it could also lift bryan another notch too.

He got it afew times today, especially in the third quarter. The kick to the goal square where Red marked had a resounding woof to it.

WOOF!

It also means we only have 11 rounds left to watch the "athleticism" of Prendergast and Clarke and the complete lack of spirit shown by Davies. THEY ARE EMBARASSING as Carlton footballers. It shocks me that they get game time - any game time! Prendergast had the audacity to make it look like he was exhausted after the game. FAIR DINKUM MATE!!!

No matter what their size or form, get Blackwell and Russell in. Get Hartlett fit and get him in as well. Please Denis, start showing some future structure of this side by playing these kids NOW!!!!! And please play Walker on the ball!!! They are our future!

They will at least get the aggot and be able to kick it with some semblance of accuracy compared to those 3 hacks of "footballers".

Well done Bryan - you showed real effort and pride. With French back we have an option as either a CHF or CHB.

Well done Lance. Keep going Carrotts.
