Just caught Sandy saying on Ch7 news that De Luca is out for (at least?) 6 weeks. Anyone know any detail? That is too short for Carlos to be promoted? If he can be promoted it might be very handy with Fev in doubt due to his groin...

I said to my mates after the Melbourne game that DeLuca was absolutely fooked and will miss matches due to rucking most of the day. He could barely jump by the end of the game. Probably not the reason but I will take it any way. Ayeah.

First of all, bad luck for Archie , hope it aint too bad.

Second of all, if it is bad and it is an 8ish week injury, Carlos has an OPPORTUNITY

Deluca has done the right thing by the club by getting injured.
Carlos who will come onto the list for him is the future.
Deluca is a sad reminder of what the penalties did to us as we were forced to recruit hacks.

Maybe we should ask Denis if he thinks Deluca is a hack

Can anyone confirm or deny this injury? Also, if it is true does anyone have any more information on what type of injury it is?

PF and PJ - well said. MCB = troll :roll:

Before the start of the season, I thought that Archie would struggle to break into the team because of his injury-shortened pre-season. He surprised me by doing as much as he has. If we had more tall players to choose from, I doubt if he would have been thrown in the deep end from the beginning of the season.

With a solid preseason and no injuries, and a settled position in the forward line, he will be a very useful player.

In fairness to MCB we're not exactly going to miss him, he has been very ordinary for a while now.

You're right.

MCB has been ordinary for some time now.
Get rid of him I say.

Lets trade him to HHQ for GOALden Hawk.

Could also throw :D :D :D to help get it over the line.

MCB + :D + :D + :D --> HHQ
GOALden Hawk --> TC

Will HHQ accept?

DeLuca is lucky he's injured as he would not get back into the team after what Chris Bryan has show a big man is capable of.

DeLuca has been one of our biggest dissappointments of 2005.
