Mark don't worry about it. You're right, Campo simply can't win, he's damned if he does, damned if he doesn't. People like Clem will never ever give him any credit so it's not worth arguing over.

C'mon guys don't be so daft. As much as l am disappointed with Campo's efforts over a long period in this one instance last Saturday he did well - it was an excellently weighed handball over to Teague and left the Swans defenders bamboozled.

And heres a thought for you Verbs.
I'll write whatever I want about whatever I want.
BM and I know each other.
He has my details and can contact me anytime if he is offended.
We've disagreed before and will again.
He doesnt need his big sister to come in and fight his battles.
BM is more than capable of looking after himself.

Nowhere have I bagged Campo or been unfair to him.
I judge him on what he delivers compared to his opponent.
If you dont want to deal in reality, go pester someone else.

I stand corrected re: Campo not marking the ball.

I would not begrudge him kicking the goal, I would have liked for him to stand up and do what he used to do in his prime, be a goal kicking midfielder.

When he gets his 26 possies, how many of them are actually damaging? How many of them actually hit the opposition hard? He's hardly scored any goals because he hardly pushes forward to create an option.

I wouldn't complain if Campo had 25 quality touches and hurt the opposition with them, scored a couple of goals and laid a few tackles...because put it simply, that's what he's paid to do.

For what it's worth, I don't analyse a game, I don't pick up all the nuances. I watch a game and either enjoy it or not...and I didn't notice Campo until late in the 2nd or in the 3rd quarter. Turned to my partner in crime on the day and questioned whether he had touched the ball before that. Partner in crime declined to answer because they found it difficult to bag Campo, who is a favourite.

Halftime stats Matthews, 4 kicks, 4 handballs. Campo 5 kicks 2 handballs and an assist. A good return for a player whose job was as a plainly defensive player.
