Vale Peter Barry

FORMER Carlton full-back Peter Barry died in Brisbane on Tuesday. He was 67.

Haven't heard of Peter befiore today, but some of our more, ahem, mature members might be able to shed some light.

Very young age to pass away :(

Sept 22, 1962 PFR Carl v Geel MCG Carl 10.18 (78) d Geel 10.13 (73).

D. Wade (Geel) had doubtful free paid against him late in match. Free awarded to Carlton full-back Peter Barry.

RIP.Condolences to family.

Peter was a pretty good fullback for us at the time.Served the club very well.

Was there that day,and till this day unsure if it was a free kick.Still, you take em when you get em.I was behind the goals and had a clear view of the incident and still cant say yay or nay.

RIP to a not-quite-household-name player. 67. Geez, not too old at all, eh?
