Only positive out of this game for me was the continued development of Walker who ran with Aker all night and did allright.

Very ordinary performance otherwise.

I'll add two further positives Kouta, who continues to defy his age and plays like a 25 year old and Livo's continued development.

I thought Bryan did alright, some of his kick outs were magnificent.
Walker was good, Fev was good till he got hurt, Lance had a good half.
We just dont have any talented youngsters, its time Pagan unleashed the draft picks Russell, Hartlett (when hes fit), and all the others, what do we have to loose now.

I managed to at least leave the bottle of whisky in the cupboard until the 3rd quarter .

3 Premiership medals, Brownlow medal, 5 goals in a GF plus numerous other awards and BOG's. If that is a dud then it is one dud i would love to have.

Positives i found as already mentioned

Kouta put in until he ran out of Gas

Walker i think beat Aka great scalp

Whitnall in first half

Waite some great marks continues to shine

Betts while he was on some fantastic tackles pity some others cant do that they should be inspiring the others.

Livo worked hard

T-Bird did okay but lacked support and couldnt stop the continued entries from the Brissie midfield

Lappin slow start but had a decent game

Look forward to Bryan and French playing together as at least when bryan gets the ball he can kick it long and hit targets

Negatives

Umpiring was crap wasnt happy with some decisions

Campo - sick of the undisciplined actions he does ... strip of the VC and if he continues chuck him in the seconds just not good enough and gives too many bad emssages to the Kids

Stevens - put in a shocker but creit to selwood fro a great tag ... dropped his head not good enough but i guess he still has injury

Fev - stoped doin anything after he may have got injury shouldnt have continued playing but he looked injured after his splits

Lack of leadership on the field really hurting us

And yep we just dont have the cattle

Votes:

5 - Kouta
4 - Lappin
3 - Walker
2 - Whitnall
1 - Waite

Walker played a superb game on Aker. Will really benefit his development this game learning from one of the elite "A" graders in the league.

Betts played well also. Why is it the smallest guy is our best tackler outside of Kouta? Betts is developing nicely also IMO.

Davies should never play with the Bullants agan this year unless he has not played enough games yet to qualify for finals at Bullants. Was clean, hard at it and just needs to be thrown to the wolves in the middle so he can gain confidence, instead of on and off the bench

Kouta should just retire now so he can be entered into the Hall of Fame quicker. He is a star.

Waite will be an "A" grader no questions asked.

Whitnall is playing like his life depends on it finally. Wasn't he fault he faded in the second half with Fev providing no assistance.

Lappin back to his best.

Negatives are too many. Why play Bowyer and Johnson ahead of kids? Teague will be playing Bullants next week. Scotland has a poor game again. Team discipline was ordinary with poor free kicks given away.

EDIT: Nearly forgot Campo and Stevens take a good hard look at yourselves.

Bigest positive for me tonight was Walker.

I thought he did very well on Aka and didn't let him have a great influence on the game.

His disposal looked a lot better as well.

Can't wait til Denis lets him loose, which I think will happen in the last 6 or so weeks. Will start dominating games.

Livingston

Only four decent players for the night.

Agree with you there - I thought Davies was consistent at least for the first three quarters. He looks comfortable playing senior footbal - much improved decision makingl. I see a future for him with the Blues - will be a 100 game player.

Houla's 1st half was good

What is Brett Johnston??? What is Ian Prendergast? The answer is not senior footballers.

Bring back Wiggins

I'd prefer to have Aka type players in our team than play against them... We need a lot more Akas at Carlton.

The form of Campo, Stevens and Scotland this year, relative to what they gave us last year, is the single reason why we're on the bottom. Kouta can't do it alone.

Thought prenda's time in the ruck in the 2nd quarter was good. Apart from that he was pretty average.

I reckon Lance tried his absolute bollocks off tonight and well done. Quietened down later in the game, but he kept us in it up til half time and didn't stop working hard all night.

Of course the obligatory shepherding call went against him.

Walker excellent. Backs himself but is definitely learning to be accountable. Didn't give aker room to breath all night.

oh yeah. Livo's haircut a definite positive too. Looks quicker.

Kouta is trying his guts out every week and without him we'd barely get our hands on the ball.
Walker's development is coming along nicely. Held Aker well to follow up from the job he did on McLeod.
Waite is showing some signs of what he's capable of.
Whitnall played a good 1st half.
Fevola playing well until injured. His chase and tackle in the pocket was excellent.
Eddie bringing down Jonathon Brown in a tackle was sensational.

Lance made the mistake of looking over his shoulder at Bradshaw, if he'd simply held his ground it would've probably been paid to him for in the back.
