Kouta, Whitnall, Stevens, Waite, Thornton, Campo, Teague (but keep Clarke) for Jonathon Brown.

Sad thing is I'm not even kidding.. (cept the Clarke bit)

I thought Thornton did ok on Brown but the Brisbane player is something special and easily the best player in the AFL. He makes some of those other Lions players walk tall and look good......getting suspended all the time has taken the raw physical edge off his game but has improved him as a player and leader...until we get our own version of Brown we wont be anything...

Josh has finally come to the realisation that our players are not top shelf.
Well Josh why would you get rid of all them for Brown?
Why not come last and have a crack at 2 players and a player through the psd ?

Brissy wouldnt entertain that swap cos Campo Whitnall and Kouta would take them 2 million over the salary cap and they would be going backwards talent wise.

I guess the point of the post was more to outline how fantastic Brown is, not really our own shortcomings, many of which have been well documented. hat.

The advantage of having shortcomings is youre crap!!!... which actually means you can address them with the way the system works.
The disadvantage exists when youre a North and youre crap!!!.. but not really that crap where you are a chance to use the system.. and not really good enough to have a chance to go up...

Who knows???
The next Jonathon Brown might be in this years draft..and we might get a channce to pick the eyes out of it..

Synbad, aren't they already 2 million over the cap anyway thanks to the AFL's rule of supporting their precious brisbane team in preference to all the other clubs in the comp... (oh i forgot sydney... they get special handouts too.)

Brisbane may have "won" 3 premierships in a row - but could they have done it without AFL assistance?

I doubt it.
