Has anyone seen the kid train latley? seems to have the goods
height, aggression, good spring and can take a grab, can anyone confrim the wraps?
He could be the added tall support we so desperately need, I'm not getting carried away yet but let’s be positive Harlett and Russell may just be the tonic in a otherwise grey year.

Buddy, the guy has been injured for the past 2 months so no one has seen squat.

given our parlous state in the 1's, plus lack of exposure, you'd have thought that hundreds would turn out at Hartlett's first game for the Bullants...

Do you know when he's due to back?
What game would that be?

He's listed as 1 week, so hopefully the next game after this weekend.

Was at training last week and he trained very strongly. He looks like he has bulked up also.Really strongly built. And good height.Almost as tall as setanta.Reckon about 195cm.Cant wate to see this guy in match condition. In horse racing parlance,he looks good in the mounting yard. But like all untried juveniles, you never know till race day.

I asked Adam at Cramer reserve last Sunday about his comeback and he said 2 weeks. I too am looking forward to seeing him play. Plenty of talent, but was told by Mitch at quarter time in an earlier Bullants match to show a lot more 'Mongrel'. I think he will take this on board and work on it.

I wonder whether our need for a tall defender is causing us to be a bit unrealistic with Harts. I have seen him play only a few times, so I will defer to those who have seen him more often. But to my eye his performances were nothing to write home about. Sure, he has a kick like a mule and he is 195 cm. But he didn't have the bulk to hold his ground, and he didn't seem to be up to the tempo of the game.

That doesn't mean he won't make it, of course. His height and footskills are cause for optimism. Particularly with his injury, nothing much should be expected of him this year. Hopefully next year, after he has a good preseason in the weight room, he will start to show what he can do. As with Livo, and Walker, it is a bit unfair to expect immediate results in any event. He might not be ready for 2 or 3 years.

But until he shows something, he is all just hope and potential. I'm sure blokes like Tony Bourke, Andrew Merrington, Jackson, Murray Vance and Cameron Croad all had good wraps on them at some stages, so I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Susie the CARLTON NO. 1 PET MEMBER and pure bred Maltese takes umbrage at your description of her. She looks upon you in disdain.

She too thinks Adam will make the grade.

Is that disdain in the picture? Looks like she wants a tummy rub!

Can Adam be our Rivers or McGuire? Rivers was picked up at pick 26 in the 2002 National Draft and McGuire at pick 21 in the 2001 National Draft. Here's hoping... 8)

I also am not one for big statements Tyrants.. but I agree- Hartlett is the best footballer of all time in the school if not in the world if not in the universe.

Hartlett should write an autobiography and put himself at CHF, CHB and FF in his Greatest Team of All Time.

Agree- although not sure about CHF- he was more a flanker.
Big question re: scheduling. He's got to host the Price is Right at 5:30 before being flown to England to be knighted at 7. He then has to make it back to host Millionaire in the one night.. tough call.

All that, and he has to squeeze in his responsibilities as Premier of South Australia.

I believe that after inventing a perpetual motion machine, Hartlett is manage his 24-hour-role on missile alert, where the machine presses all the buttons.

And, if I recall correctly, didn't Adam Hartlett discover "cheese" in Mesopotania in around 2000BC?
