Positive for me was that I only saw a few minutes of the game when it was already over.

My heart can't suffer anymore after tonight ebcause I think I've finally been broken.

We left our dog at home tonight and were worried she might wee in the house. We got home and no wee anywhere! Our dog got excited, (we didn't make that much of a big deal about her not doing a wee in the house), and she spewed all over the carpet. Then she ate her spew. Then I checked the score from tonights game.

I didn't spew so I didn't eat it either.

When football wasn't so ridiculously manufactured I would have spewed.

I'd take that ahead of the spoon.

Watching the Bulldogs it appears that skinny kids will win you a few games, if only to be smashed in the finals.

The dogs have experienced talent so the kids don't have to do the heavy lifting!

They won't make finals.

The thing is, tonight's game was a boring game between two teams who won't be involved in September.

The Dogs should have won by 60 tonight, but switched off in the last quarter.

That Carrazzo was very good.

Was Carrazzo as good as Davey's game today? I like Carrazzo who is a hard and quick player but not drafting Davey must go down as a big fuckup!

Yet 15 other clubs didn't draft him.

Don't spoil my venting of the spleen and Davey is a gun.The fact he was overlooked shows that clubs are drafting athletes instead of guys who can play.

Would have thought the speed and evasivness makes him fit into the athlete category

Is Judd an athlete or a footballer considering he is the best exponent of getting out of a pack?

I think Judd is both. I think thats something we tend to overlook at times, players can be both. Davey is probably both in that he has the athletic ability but also some goal sense.

Davey was overlooked in the draft because he can't mark overhead and is purely a forward pocket IMO. He may develop into more, but there is a reason that he was overlooked by every club in the draft and was only picked up as a rookie. I wouldn't be surprised if he's back playing VFL within 5 years. I'm not saying he will be, I'm just saying I wouldn't be surprised.

If he ends up in the VFL we should get the cheque book out!

- Fevola, absolute gun performance in a rabble of a team, how the F.U.C.K can we possibly consider trading him?!!!!
- Carazzo, one for the future, great performance. Great running out of defence, even kicked a couple of goals
- Bryan also did some good things and a 80 m plus kick in hit his target

Also:

- Unlike Australia, we didnt lose to Bangladesh

It's mathematically possible that we can win the next 50 premierships as well

No, that is mathematically and theoretically impossible given the AFL's fantastic draft and salary cap system of manufactured, cyclical success!

I love the way everyone brings up the fact that 15 other clubs overlooked Davey so you cant blame Carlton. Bullshit!

We were the club who chose between the two obvious forward pocket types in the 2003 draft in Kenna and Davey. Gee, I wonder what happened to Stephen. Face it folks, another prime example of drafting incompetence!!! :x

And to bring it up again. 2003 draft - pick 57 was Ricky Mott, pick 58 was Benjamin Hudson to Adelaide. Anyone take a peek at his game last night on Ch. 10. No wonder why were shite!!!

Look the Davey call is unfair and ridiculous.
We did pick up Betts this year...

Stevie Kenna just came off a 50 goal season in the VFL.
Hudson wasnt going to help us win games last year .. Mott may have,
Unfortunately the problem we have is trying to rise too quickly.
there are no shortcuts.
We HAVE to win the wooden spoon and get a pp and the best uncontracted player we can...
We probably have to do it next year too.

Its befitting to a club that has the worst list in the AFL since the Bears and the Lions..

Anyone who thinks we should win 5 1/2 games plus is a tripper!!!!No ifs no buts....

.......Stupidity!!!!
Dont understand football... dont understand where we are at.!!!

As for Pagan bashers...you reckjon who exactly would do a better job with that list????

Our problem is we never used the draft properly... we didnt rebuild properly... we have remnants of a culture that go through the motions and are spreading theiur stink to others...

Without draft picks Denis only could bring in a bucket of shit to the club and when you add that bucket of shit to the bucket of shit that was already here... you have a bigger bucket of shit!!!!

There are only around a dozen players on our list that are capable of being part of anything great to various degrees.
