Hi everyone,

A few people have mentioned it, others are probably thinking it. I'd like to know whether you believe the current outfit will win another game in 2005. In 2003 at this point of the season there was no more wins to come.

Also, importantly, if you believe they won't win another game this year, will you continue to watch them or have you already set your sights on the Ashes series and beyond?

Me, personally, think that there's 1 or 2 wins that will come out of the remainder of the year. Who, how, I don't know. Possibly Hawthorn, maybe Essendon* again. Even with the possibility of no more wins, I'll still watch because I'm always interested in watching my team play, no matter how crud they are.

I guess as being a Carlton, Arsenal and Dallas Cowboys supporter, after certian periods of success it can be difficult to swallow a period of mediocrity (and for Dallas, that period has been overextended), but I'll always watch them.

Also a Dallas Cowboys fan, tekno :)

To answer your question, if we don't win a game for the rest of the season we'll have lost 16 straight. I guess when you think about it it's possible based on how we're playing but that will effectively mean that every side in the competition will beat us. I think that we'd have to sneak a win or two somewhere. I think there are still numerous chances to win. Games like Hawthorn, Essendon*, Freo here, Richmond, Kangaroos. I just can't see us losing 16 straight, doesn't really happen, although I guess Richmond lost about 14 in a row last season and Freo likewise in 2001.

However whether or not we win/lose I'll be there every week hoping the boys win and cheering them on. You take the good times and the bad times. My passion for the club is still the same and I probably get even more passionate because I just want to see us improve.

We will not win another game this year. Make no mistake, the players are just as aware of their shortfalls as we are. They play like losers, they do not believe they can win another game. With such little confidence, a win this season seems unlikely.

It pains me to say this, but we all know it to be true.

No unless we play an end of season practice game against the ants but the result would be 50/50.

teckno,

I'm one of the 4 people in Australia who doesn't support Manure, Arse, Redscouse or Chelski, my team being Aston Villa, so I've got very little to be positive about with my 2 teams at present. At least the blues are in a position to improve with the draft/salary cap rules the way they are vs the ridiculous imbalances the exist within the premier league. The best the villa can ever hope for is to avoid relegation, pinch a league cup and settle for mid table mediocrity. Bugger all to look forward to but I still watch them the 3 times a yr they are on foxsports!

Go Blues
