Today is the day we find out about the much hyped OO ground re-development. From what I read in the papers this morning they are placing reliance for funding this squarely on the supporters.

It will be very interesting to see if the AFL are kicking in anything as the PROMISED to do when we were duped into moving to the cow paddock TD.

Don't expect any of the promises in the propaganda material issued last year to be honoured.

KERMIT.. you really should wait and see ..
The club is in the middle of re structuring and it will come out smelling like roses.
The move away has only helped everything.

And if you dont want to give anything to the club extra thats your business.

But the club is on the verge of coming out of all this bigger and better than ever.
Just wait and see.. it will all be apparent in a couple of months.

Synbad - I will be anxiously awaiting the reports from the President's lunch this afternoon. To me it is simple; the AFL promised to support our re-development and now it is time to show supporters the proof.

I said all along that we should have got these arrangements sorted before we agreed to move to TD on the AFL's terms. How much better bargaining position we we be in now with the MCC & AFL locked in PF negotiations? Instead it is Collingwood (in all liklihood) that has positioned itself to leverage maximum value from this situation while we are locked into a 10 year agreement.

However, I am happy to wait and see what is said today. Hopefully we get our fair share of funding from the AFL (that is all I have ever really wanted to hear).
