Care to elaborate?

Not being happy at the club, and not being happy with his teammates performance is two different things, is it not?

Teague is being exposed by our unaccountable midfield, as is our defence as a whole.

So essentially what people are saying is that Teague is our very own Jason Cloke. Champion if you let him wander round filling holes and coming over the top, but s@#thouse if he actually has to do a job on an opponent.

TruBlueBrad ... I think you are David Teague

I wish I was David Teague

Not a Jason Cloke. We're talking about the fact that not only is the ball being delivered by the opposition unhindered and under no pressure, but they're actually floating forward and our defenders are being caught out trying to pick up more than 1 guy. Happened a couple of times against Melbourne where Teague left Robertson to try and contest just outside 50.

He should be like everyone else and worry about his own ass, cover his man and say well its not my fault, my guy only kicked 2

Personally, I am shocked and disillusioned. I never thought I'd ever live to see the day when Teaguey was banished from the ones.

I think he means the

'I'm a star midfielder, I don't need to worry about my man'

culture at the club...only Scotland isn't a star so I guess its all midfielder's

People say Courageous Dave's looking for a pay rise - $330 000 or something (??). Might I add, he's different to the average former Roo->Carlton player as (1)he is incredibly sexy (apologies to Diggers and McKernan) and (2) he'll most certainly come around and regain his credibility (it's only a temporary slump). His performance for the Bullants this week is testament to his fighting spirit and determination to succeed as a quality backman.

...And by the way, whatever happened to "Teaguey" - have you people lost all affection for him?!

330K for a defender who's too short to play KP and too slow to play on tall forwards, is unsubtle with his kicking but is courageous.

Last time we paid that to a player was Simon Beaumont...

I can't see him asking for that much when it appears he's under pressure to keep his spot in the team.

my brother spoke to Teague he said he has had enough, he feels that he is the only one busting his guts some of the players are back to there old ways. Dennis seems to take it out on players who dont deserve it and players like campo, fev and some others get off scott free his drop in form i believe has something to do with this and that there is a lack of leadership at the club and all our leades care about is the $$$ signs not footy.

Also i have heard that there are some problems at board level, to many people are trying to voice there own opinions when it comes to how and what direction this club should take. Under the Elliot regime he was a dictator he made the decisions and know that the club is struggling bigtime we need this type of leadership i feel maybe someone like Fitzpatrick or even Wes lofts.

Not all of us :D

I couldn't see him commanding more than $330k at another club, B&F has to help his cause with us though.

To be honest I think he's too unselfish to be playing for a payrise.

ballistic, care to elaborate on the board trouble? Personally i always would have liked to see Fitzpatrick take a more active role.

Personally wouldn't be surprised at this info re: leaders at the club.

In fact, I would like some of the younger players to stand up and demand their leaders behave themselves.

Was it last year or the year before when the Bulldogs 'old firm' of West, Johnson, Darcy, Grant & Smith were reported as being far too cliquey, held too much sway with the coach, were not held accountable for their on-field actions and were near enough accused of being neglectful to some of the younger members of the team on game days? Could it be that same thing is happening at Carlton with the likes of Campo, Fev, Kouta, Lappin, Houlihan & Whitnall?

Teague has a point about players not doing enough and rubbing off on others.

Setting the tone.. setting the tone... i keep talking about setting the tone..and i get howled down by the simpletons who think that slack footballers who they think are guns based on what they did 4 or more years ago..cant affect other players.

As for Teague im a fan but he isnt suitable for what hes being asked to do.. like so many others at the club needs others around him.
how many times do people say "Lance would be a gun in a gun team"
"Campo would be great at a better club"
"Teague needs others around him"

You know what???

they cant stand on their own two feet cos theyre not front liners!!!!!!!!

We have very few front liners.
(Id leave Fev out of this argument because he is a FF and isnt in the play (The play being between the two fifty meter arcs)...

We need to find ourselves front liners!!!!!

Teague has a place at the club and in this side.

In my opinion players like Campo and Whitnall dont!!!.. cos they dont pull their own weight.
That effects the other non front liners cos they have to do more to cover the defficiencies of players/ leaders Campo and Whitnall.
