Yeah, his name is Fijian but in the audio from Blues Club Corner he mentioned that the other players call him 'Aisake from Japan'.

Their Mum is from Rotuma, 450 kilometres north of Fiji. And Aisake's name, in the local dialect, means "he who develops quickly to become a much-needed star at centre half-back".

ahh a bit wrong in the translation...its actually "he who develops quickly to become a much-needed champion at centre half-back"

and here's me thinking I had this unique bond with the O'Hailpins as I spent my childhood growing up in fiji, spent a few yrs living in Ireland, married an Irish girl and of course am a Navy Blue for life.

looking forward to seeing the big Aisake develop

can play by all accounts

Hi lads and lassies, You know I am a big fan and love you all, but ye are way off, being a friend of the oldest and boldest of the O hAilpín clan, the name Aisake actually means, "he from talented family who shall travel far with older brother, fill KP's for mighty blues and win many flags"
So is my understanding of it anyway.
BTW did I hear someone say they had pics of my darlin Ms. Cherry,
And how the devil is me old mate Tommi.
Where did you live Jenx?

G'day Beano,

Split time between the fair city and (in my "run of the country" accent- County Cyaaaaavan), as this is where my better half originates from.

Hi Beano..... I mentioned somewhere that I have a few shots of Tiffany Cherry interviewing Fev and watching the Blues train in Darwin.

I am a bit of a novice with these new fangled computer thingamajigs and have not yet worked out how to post photos....... but I will soon or I might get a terse PM from Tommi :)
