Hi everyone, it's been a while but i'd thought i'd contribute here.

Let me just c if I've got this right.
In the middle of the football season, a season that many saints hope to win the grandfinal, Kossi drove his car to Optus oval, in the middle of the day, got out infront of every1 and walked into... somewhere... got out, again infront of every1 in the middle of the afternoon and drove off.

yeah that true

I don't think anybody believes this happened but he still hasn't signed so the hunt is on.

And that's why he's the SKEPTIC! Well done Skeptic.

One question however I need to ask right now, are you the same person or persons behind CAPTAIN OBVIOUS!

It might be obvious to some but I'm actually a tad skeptical.

So in other words you read the thread "Kosi - He is leaving us" on Saintsational.

Yeah, I did, but I'd also heard it on the radio.

Thanks Deano and titimus, always nice to feel welcome.

But seriously, who was the other guy?

Well I won't give up on Carlton signing Kosi until he has put pen to paper with the Saints and it is made public in the media.

BTW who are you on SS?

Fair enough.

I'm not actually a member of SS...just long time lurker. 8)

titimus, are you for real? Heath Black?? What happened?! Jesus he needs a shave.

And agro, relax, I'm not trolling.

Errr dude, he went back to Freo at last years trade period.
Most of the SS mob hate him for doing so.

But yeah, stick around, mate.
Always good to have the opinions of opposition supporters on board.
Hell, we have a Collingwood supporter on here frequently.

Yes yes, I know who Heath Black is!

I just didn't know...that guy...was Heath Black.

Didn't his gf want to move or something?

Can't see any reason to hate him for that. But then, there are a couple of nutters on SS.

cooloola you must at least admit there have been problems with Kosi at St Kilda, the rumours of unhappiness (family) have been around for some time and were mentioned in the media quite a bit some years back.

The signing of Hamil to a 5 year deal is just plain stupid even you must see that. Say what you like about loyalty and how good he is for developing the kids around him but I guarrantee you'll see another side of him and particularly his management when the squeeze is on in years to come and the club would like the player to take a pay cut. It simply won't happen and you'll rue the day you got involved with him and particularly his management.

You see its all about the cash baby and you don't have the cash to splash no more.

I actually disagree mate. And even if that were to happen, what he has done for us, when we had an extremely young, inexperienced, and physically immature list, would be more than enough to make every Sainter glad we "got involved" with him.

He's 27, and like a couple of ppl have said, his body's not in a real good way.

The 5 year deal was gratitude. Nothing less. And he will still do a lot for us, will keep doing so for as long as he can stay on his feet.

You can't tell me you aren't glad you had him and lost him, as opposed to never having him at all.

Heeeeey Skepto!
Well I've been silenced by the mods over at SS.
I am only allowed to post in the SSFFL forum.
I posted in the general forum in the Douglas Wood thread the other day and apparently a few complaints were made to the Admin of SS about me posting there.
Gee, some people are precious.

But yeah.
I lurk and read, but barely ever post.

Looking forward to catching up with you in November at the forum match.

Long story.
Basically Damo reckons I am too much of a shit stirrer when offering my opinion.
In other words, some people thought my opinions and posts were quite while others wouldn't even listen.
So Damo let me stay on but only in the SSFFL forum.

Doesn't worry me.

Furthermore, he and Roo made a pact on first arriving at the club, that they would put it on their backs and carry it back up the ladder if they had to. A pact that now all the younger players have joined in with.

So none of them will be leaving at least till we have some silverware in the cabinet.

Yeah, but Kosi's back is buggered is it not? And didn't you blokes get "some silverware" in last year's Wizzer ... mission accomplished then.

:D

Kosi's AVG;

Kicks - 6.
Marks - 5.
H'balls - 4
Dissposals - 11
Hit-outs - 5
Goals - 1

Lance's AVG.

Kicks - 10
Marks - 6
H'Balls - 5
Dissposals - 14
Hit-outs - 3
Goals 2

Yes i know Kosi has only played 60 games but lets' take a look at how Lance was traveling at 60 games...................

Kicks - 9
Marks - 6
H'balls - 4
dissposals - 14
Hit-outs - 2
Goals - 2

I'm sorry, but if StKilda baulk at a straight swap for Lance then they can get stuffed, i'd rather keep him.

Look, no doubt Lance has been dissapointing and unfit for the past 3 years - but he's also been injured. With a build like his, it's hard to keep in shape when you've got a stuffed up knee.

With that said, YES, Lance has to keep his weight under control but i think he's been great this year apart from the fact that Dennis has played him out of posistion so much.

Kosi has yet to impress me to tell you the truth. He was in actual fact tipped to go ahead of Riewoldt in the draft for a while. But then again, GT has really not utilised his strength too much.

The only way i would accept a swap for Kosi and whitnall is if Lance wanted to go to StKilda...........otherwise nope, i'd prefer Lance.

And pick 18 SHOULD be off-limits and we can't trade our third round because of the potential f/s in Tommi.

Leigh Montagna is finding it hard to get a spot in the StKilda side and i wouldn't mind seeing him at Carlton.

Lance and a Bannister for Kosi & Montagna?

Fair deal (although Stkilda supporters may not believe it!). Bannister is clearly not happy at Carlton (and with Dennis) and Kosi cannot find a spot in the side with Riewoldt and me thinks Stkilda may find it hard to fit kosi in the cap now that DalSanto has signed and Hayes is as good as done!

However, going back to pick 18.............if they wanna trade Kosi and Goddard for Lance and pick 18 i'd be happy with that - but even GT isn't that stupid (although now that i think of it.............................. )

Instead of everyone stirring & being sceptic on the last post, why don't we all have a serious thought about Kosi being at optus, there is a reason why he was there, so why don't we look at the positives instead of the negtives of maybe him being a blues player ??

I'm not!

I would love to have him at the club..........i'm talking more from a 'What we give up for him' perspective! And i would rather keep Lance!
