He signed at the same time as Fevola last time.

then add Waitey to that list i think he can one day be the leader of this club he is well respected, gutsy, passionate remember back to 2003 when he played 2 dyas after his dad died the performance he put in was special.

FANTASTIC news and have been a fan of his since he came down to the club as a 17 year old
Effectively our marquee player for the future- how many young carlton supporters will be thrilled with this
Contrast this guys approach to re-signing and Hamills - not holding out to the death -not wanting to get paid over the top vis a vis the rest of his team mates
restores your faith - good on you Brendan- back yourself and do the hard work and you will be the next blues champion

Fev's manager was on SEN this arvo and said that he never was approached by the Pies or talked about Fev with them. Just shows how much BS these rumours are we read here all the time. Seems like that when the team goes badly the rumours increase. So I fully support the moderators policy of stopping rumours...

I was another one who loved him right from day one.

Just loved his enthusiasm and obvious skill.

Chairing our champions off the ground in milestone games before he had played 30 games, the guy obviously has balls and plenty of personality to do stuff like that.

He has copped as much unfair criticism as any Carlton player over the years. It was bloody hard to listen to in the outer. But has come through it and he will be a superstar by the time he signs his next contract.

Nearly five years ago I made a little claim in aus.sport.aussie-rules which I think will be coming true now he has a three year contract. :)

"Alright, there's a bet. I will give you evens that B. Fevola kicks at least
500 goals in his AFL career.

Keep that quote for a few years time."

Keep improving Fev, you can get to 500 goals before your next contract ends. I will be cheering like mad when you kick it.

File this statement away next time you say your credibility is in question.

whats with the cheap shots, i have never ever had ago at anyone on this site, never have i questioned anyones views its an open forum i report things i hear from people that i know and trust. I dont understand why so many have to belittle others on this website.

The only contributions i make are when i am told things involvong the club my source is someone Dennis brought along with him from the Kangas who is involved with my brother.

Fev will earn about $1.5m over three years when the marketing allowances and other (non -club) sponsorships-deals are factored in.

Pretty good coin.

Sorry Ballistic not a cheap shot - you saying that you thought he had re-signed last year is a "mistake in fact" and does not impinge on your "source's credibility" just your own.

Good news that he's been signed up but I'm not exactly jumping up and down about the cost. Hopefully a large chunk of that will be marketing but $400,000 a year isn't a huge victory. I know that sounds harsh but when Dal Santo just signed for around $250,000 a year you can see what I mean.

Great news. Well done Fev for sticking with a club you obviously love.

Yep, I guess the club had to tread a fine line between losing Fev for money and offering a deal that was honest enough to keep him.

While $400K may be seen as too much by some, we have to show some faith in Fev and by the time his next contract is up, hopefully he will have repaid us handsomely with some disciplined and attractive football.

Great news!!!!

These next three years are the ones that will excite the fans the most 8)

His evolution to the elite level is nearing.....

As a junior (under 15's i think) he kicked 80 odd goals by rd 7 when he broke his arm.....

One of those games he kicked 25 goals 10 behinds and had 17 handballs...(he got told off the week before for not handballing enough when he kicked i think 15 odd goals...)

This is good news people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
