Chris Bryan is a positive in that we probably won't be seeing the silky skills of Prendergast. But his arrival was offset by Deluca's poorform and game going backwards in playing only one good game.

Andain,

Your response is an absolute crock. There have been many more positives than just what you mentioned. Use your powers of observation.

EG:

J.Waite
S.O.V.
Young Vinnie
Waitey
Stretch,
Panther
No. 30
Vins Boy

 8)

Waite has been the biggest positive by far.

Carrazzo and Livingston have maintained their good form from late last year.

Bryan has emerged.

And Walker and Simpson have progressed.

I wouldn't call that a watershed.

9 weeks to see if a 50-60 goal a year forward can justify his new $400K per annum pay deal ??

He's worth it, don't worry about that.

He's our best player for crying out loud.

The Sheik, it does with the pack of donkeys(or camels for your benefit) he has kicking it at(not to) him.

I am happy with the 400K so he isn't playing against us as much as that he is playing for us...

Go Fev, Kick 100 a year by 2007!

Lloyd is on nearly double what Fev is.
We have to meet a meet a minimum total players payment. Someone has make use of Lance and Campo's paycuts, should we give it to Wiggins and Bowyer?

I was thinking Luke Power personally but Wiggins will do.

It's been a little confusing with the pre-season competition having proved to be a tease. But a good tease. I'm happy we took some money back of Demoronica/Jabba-Pants/Andy-face-of-hemorrhoids.

In the season proper we've shown a bit of toe and intention but we do not have the polish or execution to finish. Greater numbers of supporters are coming to terms with the fact that this competition is about a cycle of charity and I have to say I personally wish at times I didn't love Carlton so much because the softly-softly-piggy-back-the-underperformers quality of the game can be truly pathetic.

That said, the Blues are still the Blues and they're in my blood. Looking forward to two wins in the second half of the year against Essendon* and Collingwood.
